or a francheesy, take the hot dog, butterfly it a tad, stuff some shredded cheddar in, use bacon to wrap it back up, then deep fry that. Put it in a bun, then cover the whole thing with chili and onions in a bowl, and eat it with a spoon.

I think saganaki is simply fried cheese, although I made the same mistake as you until I went on holiday this year and thought it was a specific type of fried cheese. I think the one you're thinking of is haloumi or something? Really salty and wtfdelicious.
