I bought my tix for the movie like 3 weeks ago. It should be awesome. I'm 25 and I love this series. I started reading it when I was 14, but just b/c I'm older doesn't mean it's not awesome. That's like saying I shouldn't enjoy the video games I played when I was a teenager.

The books are actually pretty dark, too. Hella people die towards the end so the books aren't exactly what I'd call reading material for kids.

It bothers me that when I ask some of the people I know what books they've read and they respond harry potter. If you ask them if they've read anything else they will tell yo no and then go into details how great harry potter is. If you tell them it was written for children, they will go into some shit about how "dark and deep it is."

Want dark and deep? There are thousands of books that are dark and deep that are not geared mainly towards 10 year olds.
