Been wanting it, but it's a bitch to find. Closest I came across was a used copy at a Blockbuster for $49 (rip-off for used), but we all know how badly game discs are scratched at video rental places....

And on another note, wtf is with the PSP finally getting some good games after mine died? First the orgy of titles at E3 that I want for it, and now this. -.-

I have very mixed feelings about this being on the PSP. Valkyria Chronicles is a LOT of saving/reloading to keep yourself from completely wiping out on hard missions, and the frustration of waiting for UMD load times is a problem (who played Jeanne D'Arc? Yeah, same shit). On the other hand, it is finally a good exclusive for the platform.

Its the one with the big tank that appears in their base the second you step inside it. Its not that I cant beat the mission per-se. its that Im a perfectionist and cant move past it unless I get a perfect rank. Fuck

6 different stores and none have em, not even in 50 dollar scratched version, I've yet to see a copy at all

That makes me disappointed, I know Sony likes to push the psp but you'd think they'd at least think it out, already everybody I've heard talk about it complains that its on the psp. My personal reasons for this is that I hate when they make a sequel to a game and put it on a totally different console. If it doesn't end up with the number 2 on it I wouldn't mind, such as a spin off but to make it a direct sequel would piss me off.

I completely disagree. I didn't save mid-mission once, I wasn't even aware you could until late in the game and I had no problems whatsoever. You were doing something very wrong if you had to save "a LOT" to get through the missions.

My guess is that VC sold underwhelmingly, even in Japan. There's 342353453562 PSPs in Japan due to MH. Therefore it makes sense, businesswise.

I got my copy of VC for $30 new from GameStop when they had that sale a few months back. Pure win. PSP sequel is a shame though, I've never mustered up enough interest in the system to justify the purchase for only a few games.

My guess is that Sega don't want to risk spending a large budget on something they know might not sell well. It doesn't surprise me that it's on the PSP, it just greatly disappoints me. Also, while I like anime, the character designs for this fucking suck. They all look like school kids (which isn't a problem until they dress like them, IN A WAR).

And Kiarax is right, the only time I started saving mid level was when I was practicing A rank missions (or when your snipers suck and don't have ult. accuracy). If you're an absolute perfectionist I suppose you could play that way, but it's no fault of the game that you choose to do so.

I just wish they would release the first one for the 360. This and the inevitable Yakuza 3 are the only reasons I am seriously considering buying a PS3. But they are so damn expensive I just can't justify it yet.
