A few weeks ago, a disturbing story broke that Morgan Freeman was maintaining a 10-year relationship with his step-granddaughter with whom he had a questionable sexual encounter when she was young. Yes, they are not related through blood, but Freeman is 72 and E’Dena Hines is now 27, which means she would have been 17 when they first... um... got together. Once Freeman's wife found out about their secret affair she filed for divorce, and now the Enquirer is claiming that once proceedings go through, he and Hines are set to wed.

“Morgan has led her to believe that he wants to marry her,” says a family insider. Another source says, “Becoming Mrs. Morgan Freeman has been E’Dena’s goal."

Ok so this happened a while back but I saw nothing on it. I guess the issue is Freeman's ex wife had let this girl move in with them and she raised her from a little kid. But despite being so kind to her the girl grew up trying to break the two up. Personally I'd give the guy a high five, but my mother whom considers Freeman the best actor alive is now bitching about him quite a bit and claims she will never watch another one of his movies again. I say so what, I don't watch his movies and reflect on his personal life. I watch his movies for the characters he plays and so on.

Apparently many have decided to boycott him for such a simple thing. Thoughts? Meh, I know not much of a topic but I'm bored.

I've read a few things on this recently. First being that she may not be a Step Granddaughter but related by blood. It's some story bout someone giving up raising her as a child etc etc. I'll see if I can find that article.

The second was a few days ago where he denied he planned to wed her after his divorce was final. Of course that really means nothing.

In the Grand Scheme of things it's whacky it's someone he raised as his Granddaughter but shit like this happens often enough to where it doesn't bother me anymore. Morgan Freeman is just someone who was high profile doing this.

Who cares, if they're not blood, Move on. Hopefully he'll continue to churn out kick ass roles in movies.
