Getting "Windows - Corrupt File"/etc. problem. Can't find resolution.

Same as title. When I try to delete something, this comes up shortly after.

Tried the usual Google searches, etc. Not finding anything pertaining to this case really. I see "Windows - Corrupt file" issues, but noone with the "\RECYCLER" error message/part.

Note: Also when I try to use CCleaner (CCleaner - Home). It freezes up when it gets to the Recycle Bin.

edit: Almost forgot, tried Checkdisk at boottime. Found no errors.

Specs: Windows XP Home SP3 (Usual modern specs, etc.) Nothing recently changed software or setting wise in the past 48 hours besides installing a game.

Have you just tried deleting the folder? I know it's for the recycle bin, but Windows should recreate it upon restart if it's missing.

Chkdsk should have found something wrong with it... If you have multiple hard drives or partitions I believe you have to run chkdsk on each one separately. Have it scan for bad sectors too while you're at it.
