I also would like this thread to be permanently removed, because after 5 years of playing xi, I'm now, for the first time, considering quitting. The reason for not showing face? a fluke acne breakout.

My friend (female) and I were talking about this yesterday.

You were having sex and doing sexual acts on a webcam for the public to see. Someone who plays FFXi saw this cam and shared it with BG. Now, had it been some kind of private webcam that was somehow hacked, or if you came on the day after and expressed that it was an accident; that the public eyes weren't allowed to see, then it would be a different story. However, from what people have been saying, you were responding and seemed just fine that people on here were watching you.

You got the attention you wanted and showed no regret for doing what you did. The problem is that, well, this is the internet and the vast majority of those watching you are males. Males can be extremely judgmental when it comes to physical appearance of the opposite sex, so you should have been ready for the firing squad to try to find any "flaws" that they may find according to their own tastes.

In my opinion, I don't find anything wrong with your face, but that's just me. However, I cannot accept the fact that you believe you are the victim...no body here is. You knew what you were doing and got the attention, but when the attention turned negative, you pulled the victim card. Like I said earlier, you need to be prepared for all negative comments.
The guys here got caught up in all of this and were entertained, but once they saw that your face didn't fit into what they find attractive, they feel that they have been had and are saying harsh things due to this being the internet.

Next time, I would think before doing something like this...Maybe develop a tougher skin and if someone doesn't like your face then just say "oh well" and move on...I don't think it is worth quitting FFXi over, but that is your decision.
