This show is getting more and more out of hand towards the big day in November. I like that you get this writing on the wall, but they have the good sense to slow build the tension all the while managing to surprise.

I'm glad it wasn't a Joan heavy episode last week. Her husband is such a fucking scumbag and that story line irks me.

Nope I watched the Series Premier, first episode of season 1. My friend and I just couldn't get into it. I may give it another chance sometime when I have nothing else to watch. But for now it's not something that I totally "want" to watch.

I caught up with Weeds and Californication real fast (recently). People didn't really have to tell me too much, to get me interested in them. Been following Heroes and Lost for all their ups and downs. (first ep of)Flashforward really caught my eye.

Once again, I'm not trying to bag on it. And not trying to make you guys convince me that "I HAVE TO WATCH IT". Just that I heard it's a good show, and I wouldn't want to miss out on a quality show.

Well from that standpoint Episode 1 is very different from the direction the show takes so might be worth watching another 1-2 episodes and seeing what you think then.

I mean it may very well not be for you, its certainly unlike the other shows you mentioned or anything else on tv, which is why it gets the kudos it does. Outside of some mysteries about Don Draper's past there is very little unknown by the viewer outside of when all the characters lying will catch up to them.

Yea like I said, I still have season 1 so, I'll watch em eventually. At least a couple more before I totally give up on it.

I wish more people liked Mad Men, because after this week, I really want "I got you that dress, so now you have to fuck me" to become a meme.

I love how fucking nasty and sleazy Campbell is.

I love how fucking sorry they made us feel for him at episodes start; like that his marriage was falling apart and he was alone and then BAMF surprise raep to remind us why we hate him.

Oh man what a fucking amazing season finale!

    Spoiler: show
So glad to see Draper get his fucking balls back. He kept getting shit on all over the place, and in the course of up to the first commercial break, he decides he's not going to have it anymore.

Really, it seems like they hooked everyone they needed to get SterlingCooperDraperPrice into full swing.

Also: Really glad Don fucking confronted Betsy about her giant fucking double standard, even if it was in a drunken fit.

Also: Time to rehire Sal? Or is he too much of the gay? Guess time will tell!

Seriously. More of you need to watch this show.

I was wondering where Sal was. That season finale was just cruel. Just left you wanting so much more.

    BUMP!

    New season starts Sunday!

I look forward to seeing Sterling-Cooper-Draper-Price in action; not to mention hopefully a distinct lack of Betty.

    More importantly, more Christina Hendricks.

    Spoiler: show
Instead of "Sterling Cooper Draper Price" (SCDP), they should have just called the company, "Don Draper's Low-Swinging Ball Sack Inc."

Draper is truly at his best when he's not taking shit from anybody. I mean, holy fuck. He just threw a client, which SCDP is so desperate for, out of the god damn building because they were being ridiculous

And FUCK YEAH, don't stand for your ex-wife and her current husband living in your house.

    Love this show.

This season is off to a great start.

    Spoiler: show
Don Draper is already looking delightfully unhinged. The man is a fucking renegade in the world of advertising and it's clear that in the year (ish) since the last season he's garnered a lot of attention in the ad world. I also love the new office. The color schemes are so strong and have changed so much. The SDCP offices look so modern compared to the old offices. I also noticed how overtly white the office of Roger Sterling is and how dark and morose Don's apartment is. You can tell that he's just a nudge from going off the edge and I love it.

I'm also not sure what to think of his new love interest yet. Her idealism is borderline grating, but I love the way she handled Don's advances. My girlfriend and I have been waiting so long for a women's lib idealist to really clash with his rapidly declining old fashioned misogyny. At least in terms of how the 60's evolved. 1967 will be an interesting year for the show. It's still amazing how Don can be such a creep, but manage to be so likable.

Did they change the actor who played the son? It seems like it. The storyline with their daughter will be golden too.

I also have to say that I'm almost not going to watch Rubicon out of spite for how much promotion they've thrown at me the last year between this and Breaking Bad. I'm dying to see more promotion on Walking Dead though.

It is indeed off to a great start! Excited for the rest of the season. Rubicon looks decent too. Might be worth watching it too.

Don is losing it and it will be most entertaining.

    Spoiler: show
I mean, godamn, he has a prostitute slapping him in the face.

I'm actually a little wary of this story-line since it's kind of painful to see Don crash & burn, assuming it's going to get worse as it seems to be. The story may turn out to be really good, but I'll be wincing the whole way through.
