Fix all pre ZNM ??? repop timers (or even a small subset) or make /bell able to do more!
Glad to see SE has its priorities straight......... Unless using /bell on firesday new moon at G-6 facing west in East Ronf makes a special HNM spawn!!! Sadly i could see them making NMs pop from making music........
That's pretty neat lol.
REMIX
This is worse than the DaVinci code! Both the novel by Dan Brown and the movie.
I too am dismayed that they wasted engineering resources on /bell when there are so many other worthwhile things in-game that still need to be addressed. If they wanted to make the game more musical, they should update BRD songs so that each song actually sounds different.
Kudos to the Ebisu update, though.
As for whatever the third update item was... that I can't even remember what it is after reading through the 7 pages of this thread means it's probably just junk.
Edit: oh right, buns. However could I forget Curry Buns? Probably be as crappy as the Cheese Sandwiches.
This is from like, Page 2, don't care.
You can have more than 1 person playing bells... so as long as you practice you can make just about any song.
Just like you can have 2 people cheering next to eachother, get 2-3 People with bells, practice a song, then play it... Sure its alot of work, but it isn't impossible.
Btw, These update notes suck, horribly, except like mentioned for the 3 people who bothered to get Ebisu o .o
Long time reader, first time complete utter disappointment in BG analysis.
Has anyone else considered the implication that for the first time in 5 years, SE has decided that fishermen need to bring MORE gil into the economy? The last time we saw an update like this, they cut Limbus and Dynamis entry fees. This could be the biggest update note ever, if only for the economic forecast.
Lu fisherman here. I ain't gonna see squat, but congratulations Ebisu fishermen!
Holy crap how is your post count still 0
I guess you don't gain posts in this forum?
Fail. Nothing they've said they're releasing this update has made me excited at all, usually there's at least something.
I used to have that problem, until the sheer madness of webcomics and fan fictions getting entries there scared me off forever.
Following this train of though, the update still has a lot of potential.
For instance, the new areas could have new merit camps or another playground for botting some HNM (or both). The campaign bodies may actualy be good and worth the suspense of the wait.
The ANNM "on the fly dynamis" systems could bring serious rewards to the system in the form of currency and salvage related materials.
The nin job abilities could prove to be game changing, opening new strategies and options to the whole comunity.
The circle JAs could become the new berserk and the blu spells may open new traits or actualy be directly useful.
Maybe even the new curry could patch up needs for some job. It could even include a whole line up of food types, maybe even some that are fed to pets patching this way many of the problems pet jobs have.
And finaly, although this isn't part of the update, Kupo expansionette could be good. (Ok, this may be going overboard)
The problem is, the update is full of "could" and empty of "will be". Past track records from SE show that most of the time when there is a chance to make things wrong, they will be made wrong. And sometimes when there's no way to make them wrong, they will still make them wrong (bells with incomplete scales and big timers between sounds!).
Personaly, i'm pretty sure this will be a huge flop, but most of the latest updates have been kinda flops anyway... so on the line, I suposse.
Btw, the latest update had nothing new (and relevant) added to the patch notes on final day, if I remember correctly.
SE: "Happy Friday guys! lolololol"
I demand we make a sacrifice of Pikko to cleanse the company of its alla infection, cause clearly they picked up a bug from one of their premium sites.
Three guys are sitting at a table looking at a cup with shit in it.
Mr. Optimistic points out that it's half full, Emo-angst Pessimist dude corrects him, saying it's half empty, while I'm left with horrible flashbacks from the last time I saw a cup with shit in it... and the dreadful awareness that there are two guys besides myself... not two girls.
I think the saddest part is there's someone that actually worked on "/bell".
I mean seriously... seriously... they could have been fixing things like "<call>" Volume, or beetle feet or any number of TINY things... but no.. there's some dipshit jackhole fucking with /bell...
Ok, I believe it's time to start a petition to publicly execute the person/s responsible for the /bell command.
