With Adobe Premiere Pro though, I see a lot of people switching back to PC. What suite is used on Apple?

I dunno, I used Premiere Pro on my PC laptop for a while for school before I had a Mac. It worked fine and didn't give me any trouble really, but once I got used to Final Cut Pro due to usage at school, it was very hard for me to go back to Premiere. And, like kuronosan said, Mac is a lot better with ProTools, which is also something I have to deal with at school currently. Not only that, but once I graduate with this degree, I plan to go to another school for sound design in visual media, so my decision to purchase a Mac wasn't too difficult.

That, and I commute to school so having the ability to edit school projects at home was a pretty attractive idea.
