All Worlds Maintenance (Jul. 20)

At the following time, we will be performing maintenance on all FINAL FANTASY XI worlds to accompany the version update and the implementation of "A Moogle Kupo d'Etat - Evil in Small Doses," the second in a series of three add-on scenarios for FINAL FANTASY XI. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

* This maintenance will be accompanied by a version update. After maintenance is complete, the update will automatically begin after you press the "Play" button. After that, please follow the instructions on the screen.

* The World Transfer Service will be unavailable starting 30 minutes before the maintenance. Please wait until after the maintenance is completed before attempting to use this service.

* You may receive errors such as "POL-1160" or "POL-0010" during the download process due to heavy server traffic. If you are unable to access the update, we ask that you please wait a while and then try again.

* New add-on scenario "A Moogle Kupo d'Etat - Evil in Small Doses" will be become playable after the version update. For those who have already purchased the add-on scenario, please confirm whether the title of the add-on scenario is present on the FINAL FANTASY XI title screen after the version update is complete.

I'm at work and 5 minutes of googling/wiki'ing weren't sufficient, but were the servers down 6.5 hours when ACP was introduced? I thought it was only like a 4 hour downtime back then. Considering that they added way more with that update than this one...

I don't really recall. I am fairly sure CoP was finished before any word of Treasures was announced, although I can't recall if Treasures was relatively complete before any word of WotG was announced.

Define relatively complete. ZNM and Mythics were added more than 6 months after WotG RELEASE. And as you know, there is a rather large gap between announcement and release.

ToAU was announced before CoP's Limbus was added.
