I wonder what random job they'll completely break several times like they did with BLU and PUP last update. >.>

Edit: 80 megs without the expansions? That seems kinda big...but I could be wrong.
Here's to hoping Aikar puts it on his webspace again.
SE said that before FF14 is released, they currently have right around a years worth of updates planned out. This would more than likely encompass the remaining WotG story, and the 2 remaining mini stories. I really doubt SE would divide their development team up once FF14 goes up. Since there are still people who are working on all previous expansions for 14, they can just put the game into cruise control and focus on the new one
Someone asked if they announce expansions before one is completed..as far as I remember, they announced Zilart, then CoP as Zilart was still in progress because they worked on them at the same time, ToAU was hinted at near the very end of CoP then finally announced. WoTG was announced before ToAU was finished.
The word "Potential" is what worries me.The following areas will become potential sites for future Campaign conflicts:
Beaucedine Glacier (S) / Xarcabard (S)
...are they going to release these areas without campaign?
...who exactly will fight for control of these zones? it's not a windy, bastok or sandy zone. Jeuno maybe? is this why they gave us a Jeunoan flag? or is this what the Union system is all about?
You know something ridiculous like this is gonna happen like what happened with the Chocobo Circuit content for the update last June. Yet nobody will even care just like last time. xDThe new Bell & Whistle content introduced in the official FINAL FANTASY XI home page's Topics post entitled "Version Update: Sneak Peek! (17/07/2009)" will be postponed to allow for further testing. Our development team is working hard to ensure the earliest possible release of this new content. Please stay tuned for further news regarding this issue.
SE has already stated that everything for this year (Job adjustments, additions, WoTG Storyline, MMM, and mini expansions) has already been planed and they have a release date for all said content. As far as next year goes, they are working on things but nothing has been set in stone as of yet.
The zones are being opened up so the WoTG storyline can progress. The way that update teaser was worded was more of "Currently the zone doesn't exist as of right now, but in the future when it is opened it will be a potential(replace with the word "possible") site for campaign"The word "Potential" is what worries me.

The French POL update notes doesn't even mention campaign just says new areas opening up and lets you decide for yourselves.
I think the Northlands might be the first zones to trade between the Allied Forces. The DAT files already support (or supported, haven't checked recently) the idea that each nation could control each zone, but it has never happened.
That is, only San d'Oria and the Beastmen Confederate ever vie for control of East Ronfaure, but in the DAT files, it has NPCs set as if it was Windurstian and Bastokan controlled. (Insofar as the guards being I.M., etc
I'm wondering how horribly broken shit will be after the update tomorrow. That, and how stupid the new mini-expansion will be. I'm hoping for a BCNM in the Den of Rancor, personally.
