I don't see how you're getting a 5-hit build on DRK without the STP roll. Even with Bec de Faucon, which has the highest scythe delay, you'll need +32 STP (or +17 in gear), which is impossible to get unless I'm missing some key factor.

Aurum cuirass, Chivalrous chain, Ecphoria ring, Rajas ring, Carbonara. Haste-wise, you sacrifice 1% (blitz ring) and ACC-wise, you lose some, but 25% more weaponskills makes up for that (especially w/ 5/5 Diabolic Eye which every DRK should have, and Abs-ACC)

Basically it's just as situational as being able to eat carbonara and being allowed to melee something (e.g. everything non-colibri non-kited or so).

Doesn't Carbonara have 6 STP? If you need 17 STP total (or is it 17 STP PLUS the 6 from carbon?)

Carbo is +6 STP. Don't know how much you exactly need on top of my head but what I listed works even when missing 1 (maybe 2) Guillo hit.

I have both WAR and DRK. IT seems to me that guillotine is better than both RR and KJ when you're buffed. I'll post my numbers if people want me to but I didnt really use guillotine much in a long time so Idk if anything changed.

Guillotine only sucks against mobs with really high defense (see: JoL), gekko is the exact opposite. Always thought RR (and therefore KJ) was a crappy version of guillotine. I know some ppl swear by KJ but it parses about the same as RR for me.

In a totally buffed situation it's not hard to get huge Guillotine numbers really, RR is really cool also, not to mention KJ under Mighty Strikes, but yea Guillotine is nothing to be put aside, especially if you have healers who fixes your HP asap and fast using Souleater WS.
Gekko is cool and all but how often do you see them do 2k+ dmg w/o /THF ?

Edit: someone posted a cool Guillotine on Tiamat for 2600 dmg a while ago lol, just remember that, was funny.
Also, 5-hit DRK sounds cool, and ugly haha!

need + 34 when i calculate it so you need that store tp+1 ring and chiv chain (or aurum).

To Therin: According to my math that'd be 98.6 TP.

/SAM (15), Aurum (22), Rajas (27), Carbonara (33), Brutal (34), Ecphoria (35), Chiv (36) would be 101.6 on a full Guillo, so you can use that and miss 1 Guillo hit, which is pretty realistic (especially when the WS hat from Kupo comes out).

I see what you mean. This fight against the strongest of grand dragons is supposed to be an endless merry-go-round where the dragon is caught in some bizarre reversed worst-dream, where he chases but cannot catch. This all whilst being damaged by some lazy hobo (or 10) who got that job to 75 in a few days and unleash some lame-looking demon guy who throws black magic balls at 'im. Score. Much more heroic than a battle of extremes were the most prepared and vicious of melee damage dealers unleash all of their might in the hope the dragon dies before they themselves do.

ive zerged it plenty and ive manburnt it loads ... zerging it is like reading the 1st page in a book and then just skipping to the last page, I just prefer and enjoy to read the whole book.

and i didn't mention kitting Vrtra now did i .... xD
