I lived there from 05-early 07. Was training at Miletich's gym and working part time at the Best Buy in Davenport. Sam Hogar got me the job there...he was working there after his stint on TUF. I probably have a bit of a skewed view of Iowa due to the circumstances of me leaving. (my ex-wife cleaned out my bank account while I was visiting friends in S. Korea and when I got back I was homeless and broke) Which, btw, if you see a cute 5' strawberry blonde girl with green eyes and a shamrock tattoo on the front of her hip, driving a BMW 5 series convertible...tell her I said what's up.

I've probably seen both you and your ex-wife at some point. I go to best buy a lot, and have been going there regularly for years...

Presidential elections are essentially based on idiot swing voters. They are not decided on the core conservatives and liberals that you see on BG that will never be swayed one way or another. Instead, they are decided based on how many people fall for empty promises and rolling the dice.

Iowa has the most of those people, hence why they are such a great predictor in who wins the election. That is why they are important.
