I apparently nudged the remote in my forum surfing daze and changed the channel on the TV, from between the channel that was playing House & Pulp Fiction, and the channel that was playing Mythbusters after that, down to the channel where a BABY WAS PUKING OUT OF A VAGINA IN A FLOW OF PLACENTA THAT IS A BIRTHING NETWORK.

It's a renamed Lifetime-style channel named "Slice" (Slice of Life, etc), and it's like 1 channel below Discovery, so yeah, face full of vagina with a head covered in strawberry yogurt spewing hair from a ungodly distorted crack.

I tried to find the scene from Knocked Up where he bursts in from the waiting room to help, it kind of left me with the same caught unaware feeling.

Oh, damn, well I guess the cooking thread was a bit of a mislead. Though tbh, 50% toast diet is predictable from what I've learned having 2 sisters and girlfriend living-in and eating toast every morning for 4 monthes 'til she went back to school, where she still eats toast.

I don't really make my own food much at all, unless I'm sleeping at odd enough hours where I miss out on dinner time. I live like a Queen off of my Mothers awesome cooking.

Funny enough, I'm pretty catered to in this household by the cooking of my dad's gf, but I hate it. She's a good cook, she's a typical homemaker who can see some gourmet thing on food network and whip it up that night for dinner, but I don't get to cook and pick/choose for myself anymore out of the budget, and it's annoying. I love to cook, and haven't got to in ages now.

When my dad is out of town however, she won't bother making dinner or making an extra plate for myself, esp if I'm on an odd sleep schedule. There was nothing for dinner made until he popped up tonight then she had a 2-course thing, brownie cakes, and homemade donuts all baked up 'cept I didn't go up til after dynamis and they didn't leave me food >=(

Going to go make bacon & omelettes for everyone in 30 mins when people wake up.

Tables have turned a lot. Most women you talk to now, cannot cook worth a damn, or just never bothered trying, guys are the ones doing a good portion of cooking now to my knowledge, so learning to cook is a big quality trait.
