Also, a 200k house loan is jack shit. Some guy in a trailer park can get that if he knows where to look.

Why would you not want to use your new home purchase/loan to improve your credit rating?

You're confusing the fuck out of me right now.

If I do get a credit score from my mortgage I won't ever use it, this is what I am essentially saying. Sorry, been drinking the kool aid too much.

By the time my first house is paid off, I should have enough extra money to save up to not have to borrow anymore money for the next house. I will never take a loan out for a car or for school. So the only time I will essentially be borrowing money is for a house.

I will have to see how my car insurance works but not too sure they check our credit score for our rates.

The only benefit I essentially see from my parents with having credit is my Dad's business using a Southwest card. Max out the card and get a few free flights a month.

Sorry if I am confusing people

Also, I know I stated murphy moving in earlier but already have enough to buy a car or live in an apartment for 1-2 years. So unless I get hit by a truck/have a heart attack my financials should be fine.

Also living in an apartment, paying your rent/electric/cell phone/home phone/internet/cable bills will improve your credit as well as long as they're in your name.

Welt and I lived in the same apartment for 3-4 years of our college life and after that was over our credit score was still 0. All utilities were in our names too.

Conformity and I were talking about it last night some, I just think I am in a different situation than most people by being in my area. The car insurer we go through doesn't check credit scores either, I really have no need for a credit score to be honest after I get my first home loan. Don't even need it there either to be honest.
