That's the thing Howard, I agree with you, I don't want kids yet because I haven't lived my life yet or have the resources to raise a child.

also, I have a theory about women, that they are difficult to keep past 21 if you have been involved with them up to and including 21

something changes at 21, and I don't mean legal drinking age (it's 19 here anyway). priorities change, attitudes change, a lot of the things they were willing to settle for get left behind, certain parts of their personality get cemented

if they can remain intact, and your relationship can remain intact past 21 as well then great, but I've seen a ton of breakups at this age, from experience but moreso people around me



what I'm getting at is I simply don't believe she has settled into her own by 19, this kind of thing seems more of a whim, something she thinks will fix, repair, or guarantee things -- all of which are the worst reasons to have a child

tell her to babysit, or volunteer if she wants to be near kids, but don't bog down your lives before you can support them comfortably and know what life's about in order to teach them anything other than impulsiveness, irrationality, and poor parenting
