Ok i just wanna make sure of something. Currently at work so will do it after.


I am at the part to get the orbs to do the cardians and i got 3 question.

1) To be fully unimmune to 1 stuff how many orbs do i need.

2) When it says immune magic is it all magic or magic dmg only? (aka can i sleepga even if i didn't get magic orb)

3) if i go RDM/BLM can i kill with DD joyeuse only or should i unlock magic dmg too?

Interesting story about that fight... I planned on soloing the fight on BLM. After like an hour of killing cardians, I finally get an Orb of Batons. Now, I made the mistake of reading about the mission on failwiki, where someone wrote that Batons = magic. So... I go and pop the cardians, and Thundaga3 them for a whole bunch of zeros... Ended up having to spend like 20 minutes meleeing them all to death with my staff. Easy, seeing as they always hit me for 0, just took a while.

Sleepga landed just fine, so the immunity is only to magic damage.

with minervas, avalon, and shell 3 i was taking 103 each bomb from main boss. shell 5 and barfire would probably cut it in half

/nin worthless, so yea /rdm better

shadows do absorb a TP move that slows you though, but i think its managable without

• Use a Sahagin Key to enter the Ornimental Door at (J-11) in Sea Serpent Grotto.
• Examine the Waterfall Basin for a cutscene.
• Return to your Moogle in Jeuno.

You also need to visit a Conch NPC or something at the room you go in for the [edit:]TONKO: Ichi quest. If you go straight to the waterfall you get nothing.

Trust me, I missed it from this thread and it SUCKED.

Just did the Cardian "BC" with 3 people, 2 WHMs and a THF. Was very easy.

We had Swords and Cups orbs, tried for the others but was too much competition. They took no damage from magic or from the WHMs clubs, but by banishga-ing we could take some hate off the thf. Thf was able to kill each of them in about 4-6 hits. Additional damage from Mandau's poison did 0. They used alot of -aga spells, so /nin is probably not a good idea for anyone soloing.

Just wanted to mention that it's the Tonko:ichi quest room not the Utsusemi: Ichi quest room. You'll be quite disappointed making a trek to Utsusemi room.

QSC one is a bit more challenging than Qu'bia but nothing very hard, a SAM can perfectly destroy it in 30 seconds.

About Throne one, haven't been able to try it yet (Kujata slooooooooooooooooooooow), but it looks definitly funnier than running away from a crystal for 15 minutes.

Is there anyway to keep the moogle off the upper area or will he just go there no matter how hard you try to pull him away?Are the BLMs close enough to just -AGA to death quickly?

The missions sound like they're even more annoying than ACP.

Logged in this morning to see what Giddeus looked like and 48 people were there. I promptly logged right back out. Fuck that noise.
