Seems Like its 100% luck, My brother ended up getting

6 Darksteel, 4 Gold, 4 Yellow Rocks, 3 Silver ores and a bunch of /tossed ores getting his in Gusgen

Well after getting all 4, and finally getting some JPs to help me... i popped it and only 5 popped and i was able to damage them easily. Was kinda embarrassing after begging the JPs to (Team up?)

Oh! Otherwiki says you can trade the Metal Strap, Tree Bark and Lamb Roast to Squintrox Dryeyes in Port Jeuno for a Blue Coral Key for a Tenshodo Chest item!

I wonder what augments'll come from this one?

Theory Each orb Makes it un-immune to a Certain type of Damage. I got 3 people with me, i'll test the theory

Just watched 2 JP Duo it a RDM and a BLM

Said they had all 4 Key items. They had no problems Damaging it, 6 Poped, BLM used Aeroga II twice and all died

If multiple people enter, who gets credit for the fight completion? Everyone present on the mission, or only the orb holder?

The next part that requires you to find a moogles possession is a matter of a treasure trail. Or atleast I think. Mine sent me to I-11 on the western border sorta on the middle of the line. But I think this can vary per person. Area given to me was la thiene which I also think will vary per person.
