Spawned about 12 Cardians. heres the thing

BLU Had Sword/Batons, He was able to Do Slashing DMG (sword) and Battle Dance. Blunt Did 0 DMG
WHM had Swords, Blunt did 0 DMG, Magic Did 0.

Swords Seems to be Slashing Damage Removal
Batons must be Magical Damage
Cup/Coins untested. I didn't get either

You have to go chocodigging in Valkurm Dunes, it lead me to the very bottom right of D-6. I'm not sure if it'll be the same for everyone. Went through 2 stacks of greens, but that's because i had no idea what i was doing.

Adding to this. It seems That The immunity depend on what the Individual player has, Not the popper. Only thing Popper does is determine how many spawn. All were relatively weak, Teir 1 Aga, Teir II nukes, Some used Banish, Blind, Etc.

Sword = Slashing
Batons = ???? (Cyclone did 0 Damage with this, piercing and Blunt did 0 as well...)
Coins = ???
Cups = ???

I had to chocodig in the dunes. Got mine @ F-5. Others in my party had to go to La Thiene, Zi'tah and Yuhtunga. Took me 12 digs.

Once you get a sahagin key to get behind the ornamented door just follow up the path til you see a marker named "Waterfall basin". Very obvious point.

If you've never done the sahagin key quest, make sure that you pick up 3 mythril beastcoins and a norg shell asap. Those whom have done it pick up a gold beastcoin and a norg shell.

Update:

-Head back to upper jeuno.
-Watch CS
-Assuming BC in chamber of oracles, therefore, prepare properly.

as I was on thf, I decided to test. Since someone earlier mentioned thf doing damage with cups, and I didn't have cups, I tried daggers first, then h2h, then swords

Daggers did 0 damage, so i believe cups unlocks piercing.
Hand-to-hand did normal/good damage.
Sword did normal/good damage.


Also, I invited a random person for the fight only. he reported doing damage fine on SAM, but when the fight ended, he did not receive the key items, despite being on this mission.
from this, it appears you must have at least 1 key item in order to complete the requirements

Did thefight a 2nd time for the random guy I invited. he got cups only (go figure), and piercing was the only type that did damage

Just did the Cardians on THF75/NIN37 with BLM duo, we had 3 orbs (no coin) and they were magic immune, so it seems coin = magic if there was any doubt.

Edit: Pretty sure there's no EXP loss if you die on this fight, either.

D-10 Quicksands entrance in Western Altepa > talk to Goblin Geologist (near entrance) > have to find 9 ???s to get key item for bc(?). The ???'s are all over quicksands, not necessarily at the D10 entrance. One near Titan BC.

The gob edits the maps. so if you go to markers, you can see where on the map the ???s are. They're still all over the place though.
