the ??? elvaan that talked to Ragelise in the final CS... gives me the gut feeling that Lilith is trying to get both the mother and father on her side, to prevent lilsette's birth and insure her own. meaning I think that ??? elvaan was one of the spitewardens in disguise

if anything, its 1 of them shapeshifted.

The ??? Elvaan is almost definitely Haudrale. He uses this form in La Vaule and somewhere else, I believe.

I enjoy the Wings storyline a lot, but I was underwhelmed by the actual missions this time around. The Cait Siths scene was some seriously brown-acid-induced ridiculousness.

Tangentially, the effects artists at Square are masters of juicing every bit of outdated PS2 technology while somehow creating amazingly stylized graphics and animation. Lilisette irritates me to the extent she is yet another token, overly peppy expansion youth. But whether she's puzzled, sullen, tearful, determined, or dodging balls whizzing past her face, her subtle facial expressions are very impressive.

Yes, it's nice to see they finally learned to get emotion out of NPC faces in WotG. I was amazed that you can actually see how they're feeling through just facial expression.

Why couldn't lilisette catch up on the "mother" part. It's painfully obvious no matter how you look at it...I just wish she would realize this on her own, instead of saving for a not so shocking plot twist later.

She already did. Look at her face in that Sandy CS. And Lilith gave her a smile and asked her "Choose Lilith in the future..." in the JP version (not sure what happened in the translated one) before stepping on her hands to make her let go.

Nicely done thanks for info. Those Q & A were bothering me. It seems you don't get a bad response even for getting one or two wrong. And the northlands mobs questions seem like two of three answers are both correct. The orc units one also confuses me. It seems to me like there are 5-10 orc units not 1-3. I don't understand their rationale.

Has anyone had difficulty entering "Dungeons and Dancers"? PT of 3 could select the BCNM from the G-9 pawprints, but continually got "The hands of darkness have prevented you from proceeding." Even solo, I still got this message.

I reached the petition mission this morning and otherWiki had full instructions for the 120 signatures so I just followed all the instructions and got my molybdenum ingot. Yay!

One thing that I noticed which is total BS: When Farouel asks what monster prowls the glacier, "Imps" is considered incorrect. WTF? That is totally unfair and should be replaced with a better wrong answer like "Wivres" or something.

Gwynplaine - You missed my favorite, I laughed when I saw the look on Lillisette's face when she sees the "new and improved" Cait Sith.

Max - The instances were basically full, I think you just needed to wait. Number of members in your party wouldn't matter. In fact, lots of separate individuals soloing this mission at the same time is probably what kept you out. MMM runs and potentially a Sandworm group could also interfere.

"What calls Xarcabard it's home?" is pretty lame too, as Gnoles & Tauri are present there. However, the verb "prowl" does invoke images of tigers for me moreso than demons.

Sorry that this isn't much help, but the message confirms that everyone has an Umbra Bug.

No bug = different error message ("Not all party members meet the requirements" or something to that effect)

I think the key word was "Prowls". Traditionally, that specifies a cat type monster!

I like this story much better than the other packs. I don't know much about Van diel history, but how does Diabolos/Dynamis play in all of this? Will it be a scene we're likely to witness?

It seems the deciding factor will be whether that guy choose Portia over San d Oria (Since none of the other nations matter). Hopefully he realized that the Kingdom is more important than some bitch.

It is doubtful we will see the Battle of Beaucedine. Though, it would be incredibly awesome if we did, it's basically the Crimson Wolves chasing a whole bunch of Beastmen through Batallia, an epic 1 v 1 duel between Mieuseloir and a Demon General, but the Demon is a bitch and brings in the rest of the Beastmen when he's losing, but it's ok the Hydra Corps save the day. But, nearly all of the Crimson Wolves get wiped out (this time, it's for real), and Mieuseloir joins up with the Hydra Corp and gets Ragnarok presented to him. The reason I say this won't happen is because then who will defend Batallia Downs?

Zogbog from the San d'Orian questlines briefly mentions the disappearance of thousands of people in Beaucedine or Xarcabard, I think. It's been a while so I can't remember which zone, and I can't remember if it was a direct reference to the fact how Doggvdegg will react when they go missing or the the reaction of the Allied Forces when the Battle of Xarcabard gets turned up to 11 with more Bloodwing Horde (originally most of them died/got lost in Tavnazia) It could've been both.

Diabolos might play a role in a nation mission, briefly, and I have a feeling the only Shadow Lord we'll see is in some cutscenes from the Bastok line of quests.
