Union Drops

I got killshot on aspid in campaign and n. body was in the union pool.

If NPCs or DoTs kills it, the killshot should go to the guy with the last action on it. I.E. red to you.

I just happened to notice this last night. In log right after my Drakesbane on the Yagudo SAM NM was the killshot by one of the NPCs. Icarus wing was in the top slot of my union's pool.

Yagudo NIN NM was killed by DoT and friend who was in that Union got Tonko: Ni in his union pool.

Seriously stfu Macross. There have been more then 2 pictures taken of 100s and if i remember right a couple well respected BG Forum members posting them. There was even a camera phone picture and a game screenshot of the same treasure pool from separate people.

First of all, excuse me for not knowing who the fuck is a 'respected' member.
Every screen shot, cept for one was posted by someone with a low post count.
Also, every screenshot, minus one had no lot messages, which are slightly harder to fake. Assuming they had lot msgs filtered out here.
Also all most screenshots had a solid background, alot easier to fake.
Two of the screenshots were from people who were on the same server, as the people lotting and stuff were in both pictures. Friends working together?
One screenshot was from a group that was partied together. Again no lot msgs.
Going by high post count as being 'respected', only 1 person even posted it was real, before I first asked my question, and that was right after a posted screenshot only. Never said he personally saw a drop. Only till I posted my question did 'respected' posters confirm they indeed have personaly seen them.
I asked my jpn lsmate, as another source of information. You act like japanese players are irrelevant or something. They campaign ALOT, so does it not make sense they would post something about seeing a 100 currency dropping as well.

I posted my quicky shopped picture to demonstrate how very easy it is to fake a drop like that. Like a guy posted above, photoshop has been out a while, so I'm sure alot of people know how to use it. If I made a couple maat cap drop shops, and had my friends post, would you believe it just based on the pictures? So forgive me If I was being a bit skeptical.

I'm pretty sure 300 is the cut off, I've personally gotten 285 and nothing and 305 and got lotting rights, a ls member said last night they were able to with exactly 300.

Any idea on the Allied Notes he had? And I don't care if you don't believe it. I'm more keen on figuring out if the rumours of Behemoth Hide and Imp Wootz Ingot are true or not.

Gyeh. This is most discouraging. I have my doubts regarding it being some % based off of total union EXP. Mayhaps it is Allied Notes and not EXP? I can't really imagine it being some convoluted formula based upon everyone present ugh

i'm pretty sure it's a percentage of your capped exp/min, the longer the battle goes for the more exp you need to have earned to be able to lot.

Maybe your share of XP is compared against others in the union... so if everyone is getting 1k+ and jonny-come-lately gets 250, then he isn't eligible.

But if the average XP is 500pp, then 250 would be enough.

Just theorising, no evidence other than conflicting information on the minimum needed.

Just speculating as before but could also be exp (or AN) per wave. For example if in a single campaign just one wave appears then 250 exp (or 150AN) is you minimum. Two waves could be 400 exp (or 300 AN).

If nothing else we have proven that there is not an overall set in stone value.

No screenshots (PS2) but I did a long campaign battle in Sauromauge Champaign (S) and recieved 4850 XP / 2425 AN. Two Yagudo waves attacked, plus a Belfry was constructed by the Yagudo. I had 5 killshots on all non-boss monsters, 3 of which were on Belfry monsters, as opposed to 2 on normal Yagudos. I must've been the only one in my Union remaining when the fight ended, or the only one who qualified at least, as 3 items auto-dropped to me.

That's how random works. Always ensures that you think the odds are stacked against you.

If it was purely random, you would not have 10 items with which you basically always had a 940+ lot. Think of all the times you were with your LS and a bunch lotted and the winning lots were around 700-800, just seems that with union, before half the people even lot, there is a disproportionate amount of the high 900 lots.
