Meh.
btw, meriph mountain's fight only need 5-7 mins
just bring 3 DD, a GOOD RDM for sleep, whm and brd
what we did is NIN MNK WAR RDM WHM BRD
WHM open ES sleepga > NIN attack Nuu, while MNK and WAR kill Ochre x2 scorp > Help Nuu > 2 DD kill any repop Ochre > Nuu > DD kill Stale, NIN move to Yii > Yii full attack and fuck the repops let the rdm sleep them
a good rdm is really needed in this fight imo to help anytime in the fight to sleep. Our rdm went /BLM for extra sleepga.
hope this can help the grauberg congestion
also looking for other seemingly easier zone like fortkns to try.......but i cannot even find the pixie there lol
would spellcast or other windower tools make macroing between 2 copies of the same weapon possible? not asking for a howto, just curious if it's possible.
Guess SE made it Aug/EX for those times where you need it to be situations to swap out to another type.
Spamming CB to get another Tsukumo, aiming +5D, +5 acc.
In attachment is +5D, +1(%) Crit Rate, +3 Subtle Blow.
augment will be ffxi's future
honestly, its better than having lame wtf stats or statsless shits in AH for 7 years
everything got a chance to shine now
friend of mine got this staff
Got this yesterday

Arthars, Rolanberry is very simple.
You'll need
RDM/NIN or PLD/NIN
BRD/WHM
DRK/NIN
DRK/NIN
WHM or RDM/WHM
The last spot can either be another DD or a COR. We had a COR.
Stun is very important for this, hence the 2 DRKs. BLU Head Butt stun doesn't proc all the time, but if you do decide to bring a BLU (They really do kill much slower, I suggest just not bringing one) have them use Temporal Shift for stunning purposes.
The fight is against 6 Quadavs. They are all BLM's and each have a corresponding element. The RDM/NIN or PLD/NIN NEEDS to pop them so they can super tank. All you need to do is kite them around the area that is available. I assure you, it's large enough to do so rather easily. Use the 2 stone walls as your guide. Pretty much anywhere outside these stone walls is too far.
The kiter should have no problems. The turtles will only stop and cast. Before the first three are killed, they will all cast Tier IV, Ancient Magic and Ancient Magic II. The only time they will attempt to melee is if the kiter goes in melee range of one of them. Like most BLM mobs, they will come to melee range only after about 30% damage is done to them.
As a RDM/NIN kiter, I kept Bio 3 and Poison 2 on Slashburner (The one we kept fighting last) and by the time the melee were ready to fight him, he was close to 70% HP. Not really necessary, but can save you a little time (Not like you'll need it).
During some of the fights, some of the turtles would lose aggro on the kiter and just target a seemingly random party member to nuke. We aren't exactly sure what caused this but to be safe, make sure nobody else is casting on the kiter. The kiter should be able to fully support themselves, especially if its a RDM.
You'll want to have the DD enough all the DARK based mobs first. The killing order should be similar to this.
Spatesurge (Water) -> Tremorcrag (Earth) -> Winterkill (Ice)
After the first three are dead, the last three will begin to cast -ga3 and enfeeblega's. It is recommend you kill the Dark based mobs because their enfeeblega's are much more annoying (Poisonga, Slowga and Paralyga).
However, if you kill them OUT of order (Meaning going from a dark based mob to a light based one) you may be in for trouble. Such as killing Spatesurge then attacking Grimewind, it'll trip their "-ga3 mode" and you'll have to deal with 5 spamming AoE turtles, instead of 3.
The last three can be killed in any order. We chose to do Grimewind first so the kiter wouldn't have to risk getting Gravitied. Have the 2 DRK's alternate stuns on ga3 and enfeeblega. With a BRD and COR, they go down at a decent pace. Wrathstorm and Slashburner are the remaining two, in case you want to know their names.
And a last word of advice, Dispel Hastega that Wrathstorm casts. I think it gives them more Fast Cast.
I'm no Black Mage but...
If a SMN can have Perp- at the same rate as HQ staves and get BP Delay reduction...
If a WHM can have cure potency above staves (ok you gotta dw, and i think that was an option before but you really had to go all out) AND Cure cast time reduction...
The other mage jobs seem to have decent stats that doesn't necessarily break HQ staves, but provides an addition or alternative...
I really feel sorry for the BLM's out there... ; ;
isn't that kinda like feeling bad for the guy with the bentley when he doesn't upgrade his car and all his buddies who had functional but unstylish cars traded in for better? nothing to feel sorry for, when it's hard to imagine a better weapon for blm ever being released.
To be fair, BLM gains a lot from elemental staves unlike other classes. WHM gains 10% Cure potency compared to 25/30 Magic ACC (And some MAB bonus too). Bahamut Staff for SMN existed before this and acted as a replacement for Elemental staves I believe, so this is just a cheap alternative. If that were 25/30 Cure Potency and maybe 10 Perp cost, I could see the problem.
