Here are a few weapons I got yesterday. I'm not sure what are the possible stats I could have gotten so I just got what I thought was pretty good. (Grauberg S)

I tried this fight again the next day with BST weapon as my augment and got these results for the two fights.

Fight 1] DMG+4 CHR+4 (Denied)
Fight 2] CHR+3 Accuracy+3 (Denied)

What the frick, where are my damn pet stats?

The hexagun is actually really crappy. At first glance I thought it would make a great gun to pull with so I ended up accepting it. Then I looked into my inventory to see my peacemaker and was immediately disappointed. I was also disappointed at the BST weapon. I'm pretty sure that weapon will not get any better no matter how many times I retry the fight.

The only way that hexagun will be useful is if I can get one with +magic attack bonus and/or -quick draw delay

Yeah I turned down that exact gun - realised I probably shouldn't have bothered with the Hexagun at all. Did get a SMN -3 perp, +3 MAB staff on my last try which is useful if not exceptional.

My apologies for the mini-necrobump, but I wanted to see if anyone had gotten a victory in West Sarutabaruta [S] yet.

If not, I have a strategy that I want to share. This strategy is based on information about the NM and the 6 mini mobs on lolWiki.

Setup: PLD/WAR, 2 BST, WAR/NIN, RDM/BLM, BRD/WHM or /NIN

Have RDM use Elemental Seal prior to the PLD popping the NMs. PLD pops NMs and immediately vokes and flashes Poroggo Gourmand and begins kiting. Gourmand stops to cast every few seconds, so it will be an easy kite. RDM Sleeps the 6 minis.

The 2 BSTs will call pets (CourierCarrie or FunguarFamiliar) and will send them onto Poroggo Gourmand so they will begin whittling down the main NM's HP. The WAR/NIN and the 2 BSTs will begin to kill mini toads one at a time. If new toadys are respawned, RDM and BRD immediately sleep them. The mini toads have low hp and low defense, and can be killed quickly (according to wiki).

The key to this strategy is for the PLD to maintain hate while the two BST pets whittle down the main NM's HP. BST pets cannot be charmed, and if the PLD kiting is far enough away, Frog Song will not work. The other key to this strategy is for the others (WAR, RDM, BRD) to know which mini toad has been alive the longest. They will begin to resist Sleeps eventually, so knowing which ones are new, and which ones have been alive longer is also key.

If anyone wants to try this out, please let me know how it goes. I'll try to get a group together tomorrow and have a go at this and see if this strategy will work. I'm getting tired of Grauberg [S] spam.

2/45 (2x SST-1%) on BRD Knife. While its obviously all random, its a real kick in the nuts to see everyone in my static get at least 1-2 augments they want by at least the second weapon. Even then, at least they get to *see* the augment they want even if it is bad.
