    Monitor Color is all Blue-Washed

I tried factory reset, custom color, nothing seems to get my whites whiter

even the brightness is at 100 and it seems dull, my screen looks like ffxi during full moon, 9300 and 6500k settings look okaaay but still not great, always with the color wash

anyone know colors well enough that I can manually get a nice crisp color-free white on my screen? I've been adjusting the red, green, blue settings and nothing seems to work

Check your pin connections from your monitor to your video card. Also from your monitor to the cable. Sounds like the red or green pin has become damaged.

Just posted this in a similar thread, but hopefully this will help, unless you're specifically talking about FFXI colors and not the monitor in general? If not a color calibration issue that can be fixed with Calibrize I'd think as mentioned a hardware problem.

    ugh, well that was simple

the cord on the back was loose, the 2 twist-screws on either side of the connection weren't connected

I specifically noticed the reds weren't registering, the red X for stop was nearly black and after tweaking the greens and blues any adjustments to the red did nothing

anyway many thanks, my greenpink is back
