Sort of this. I don't think it's so much their quality assurance people as it is the poor planning and communication overall of all departments involved in the update.

I would be thrilled to bits if that GM were right and this is intended behavior.

I think it's reasonable for people to expect it's broken, but thanks to SE's inability to provide details, we really don't know for sure.

It'd be depressing if it were working as intended and so many people complained that SE "fixed" it.

I really do not see the logic in how they can possibly ban for using an exploit when it basically means you can't play the job. At all. At least in that stance, and not have it happen. It's not like you're messing with where your toolbag is in your inventory list and that makes it proc 100% or anything. I, too, call BS.

That being said, hey, Kaeko, maybe we'll want to wait on enmity testing these things... suddenly I don't really want to change to NIN.
