I'm unsure on the feet...I'd guess Yigit, but I'm not sure on the exact calculations.
Someone found that within a specific dINT, MAB=INT, so Yigit if within that range. Ultimagi often testifies that you'll never reach that range, but other posters seemed adamant about the ability to reach that range (I think it was dINT10?). Not sure since I don't know what PDIF and all that beauty stuff is, but maybe I've shared some info that you know how to work with. Oh and ALWAYS Obi for Helix. It increases the duration and "supposedly" gives Magic ACC (I think it was Tsuko or Ultimagi who questioned this?).

Big no to the bold. Helices are automatically modified by day/weather, no obi is needed. Read the spell description.

I did the math on yigit feet vs goliard (2 MAB vs 1 INT) just recently, I believe in the What's better thread. I found that in most instances, they do exactly the same. On low INT mobs, the MAB will pull ahead, and on very high INT mobs, the INT will pull ahead. Thing is, on very high INT mobs, helices do so little damage that there's not much point in casting them. So might as well just leave Yigit in your macro.

Helix only take advantage of the damage from weather. The magic ACC and duration are unaccounted for. This was tested in the WoTG thread.

Hmm... I've never heard that anywhere before. I'll have to test it.

Echoing Yugl's post, there did seem to be some stock in the test regarding that Obis increased the duration of a Helix, but whether or not this is unique to Helices and what-not, the world will probably never know.

Yea, I'm a little retarded, I just started typing without thinking (and I'm not at home atm). I definitely use the proper obi for all my helices, I also use Goliard on feet because I don't recall ever using sch/blm for anything at 75, and the 2macc seems like the deal breaker, since MAB is a little lackluster on helices. But yea, /rdm and very rarely /nin are the only SJs I've ever used.

Anyway, sorry, my bad - obi's on the helices. I believe the rest is correct.

My Ninja is currently level 48. I've been back and forth in my mind on whether or not the time and gil investment to get NIN to 75 is worth it. (This includes unlocking and leveling DRK to 37). So many people just use PLDs instead of NINs, and it's very hard to break them of that habit. It's just..NIN is a fun job. My problem with that is..I have SAM and BLU..I never get to use BLU because everyone wants a SAM instead. I leveled BLU anyways because it was fun. I only campaign on BLU and that sucks. I just don't want NIN to get stuck in this same situation. So I ask..level NIN to 75? =X

    Edit:

Events I do/am interested in doing: Sky, Nyzul, Limbus / Salvage, Sea, Einherjar(maybe)

if u farming generally want TH so /thf <_<, unless you have a thf with u or kupo power.

agree with others but /dnc better for campiagn really you take more dmg, cure yourself more which will net your more exp generally, and exp for debuffs via steps, extra mp from samba, and self erase/-na is nice too

Anddddd, I dunno about /war on pld...pld is a bad job in an exp party. It almost feels futile to even care what I subbed when I leveled it. The fact the party wanted a waste of space in the party meant it was already bad before I got there. (I only leveled it to 66 for cap). The only good thing about it is near instant invites to mediocre parties.
I found with DD set in good parties I can parse 13~18% of dmg in DD gear[depends on mobs/lvl/buffs though] with other good DD and hold hate for good bit of the time while curing alot so mage isn't having to do as much curing.

I don't have NIN to 75 but various lsmates of mine have very well geared nins to 75 that never get used *anymore*. The players I'm talking about also have other useful jobs such as PLD, brd, rdm, sam, etc. I'd say in your case it all depends on the strengths of the other tanks in your ls. We have some very skills and well geared pld tanks, so nins dont really have a chance, but if your other tanks are weak who knows. Lastly, nin/dnc can do some pretty impressive soloing, if you plan on using it also for that purpose then don't give up on it.

Has there been any testing done on Treasure Hound and if it stacks with Treasure Hunter trait/equips? The otherWiki says it doesn't, but I haven't been able to find any proof either way.

with all the b.s. about TH over the years, how would you even start to test this?

You could test the Gilfinder enhancement on an NM that drops a static amount of gil. If it drops more than it does without Treasure Hound, I'd assume it stacks with TH.

Make yourself useful on Ninja, get as good gear you can and train and gain experience with it.
For DD tanking it works great for Nyzul / Limbus / Salvage / Einharjer which you mentioned, though you most likely would use your SAM full time in Salvage there, but for the rest you could swap to NIN for fun and play tank / DD, but you need to make sure you invest much in your NIN if you want to see some action with it.

With all the talk pizza being good and all, is there a general rule of thumb when to use mariana pizza/attack foods/sushi? ie, how much acc does one need? and for what events? I'm assuming this will depend on what buffs you have on you as well?

    Our server hasn't had the Gilfinder one since the first week, but I guess I can try that once we finally get it again. Was just hoping someone had already done some testing so I would have some evidence to start with before I did anything ^^;

Eh, those are worse DD than I think you give them credit. No paladin should be able to do even 1/3rd of a good DD.

Not really most of the parse numbers are againist decent to great drg, sam, drk, and wars though my dmg% is a bit lower on second tier colibiri due to flash being reflected at me[only parse 8~10% there unless two buffers with 3 DD in pt]. Though I do have 4 sword merits and pretty well geared DD set-up.

PLD is just a one-hander melee with two good weapons (joyeuse/justice) and without any offensive ability or trait (Hasso/Berserk/DA/Martial Arts). PLD can do half the damage of a hasso melee, maybe less. It's not that bad.
