I have MNK WHM BLM SMN at 75. Which MkD head would benefit me the most? I play mnk the most, followed by whm, then blm, then smn.

There are 'best' headpieces for both whm (mnd/cure potency) and blm (int/mab/macc). I don't know for sure about the mnk or smn options yet, I haven't really looked beyond hearing about the whm and blm ones.

Can make a great Asuran Fists headpiece, if you play monk a lot. Also, turban+1 with dex, or haste and acc, depending on what you currently got. Some nice combos for whms and blm as well. Which will benefit you more will depend on your current gear options versus the new ones, and which jobs you play or like the most.

Since we're on the subject on augmented head pieces, would it be better to make a ranged attack head piece with enhances snapshot (+3% Haste) and racc+10 ratk+5 or use Zha'Go's Barbut? And how much "Haste" does the Barbut give?

Barbut does not give haste, but does have an enhance snapshot effect on it. I pretty much turned my salade into a ws piece, putting STR+4 WSacc +15 AGI+4 WS Dmg +2% on it. Barbut is , imo, the best TP head you can get for rng.

yeah, ive done it when fooling before and had like +125str including gears, so no idea on the exact increase and that's kinda from memory too!

I've actually convinced a few SCHs to merit MV just for that purpose. One SCH says he hopes to tackle Vrtra that way.

Planning on wearing this when I hit 45 (which would be tonight if it wasn't for maintenance FKING the EU players.... again).

I know I need a PCC (Working on getting this) and Luisant set, but I don't have that much to spend on a mid level job.

As far as I can see I wear this until 55 when I add Fourth Hands and feet, then at 59 I get my Hauby :D With a few scythe updates along the way.

NB: this is the first time I have leveled a melee job (until now it has all been about pimping RDM and BLM), so sorry if I sound retarded

I didn't mean that Barbut gave haste. >_> I guess to make it clearer, what I am asking is is the enhance Snapshot effect is the same on the Barbut and the Salade?
