For Dragoon Drakesbane, Zahak's Mail or Aurum Cuirass? I'm leaning towards Aurum for full time tp/WS piece without switching, although Zahak's Mail is more accessible.

nah, aurum's. Input that into your calculator, Aurum should always pull ahead slightly.

15 attack against 2 STR 2 DEX (up to 2% Critical Hit Rate) AND 3% Critical Hit Rate? I don't see how but someone can do the maths if they want.

I don't know math either but it's a toss up really I'd think, since I still not seen parse for it.

full att > str built VS full str build are only marginally difference

Alright, newb SAM looking for advice on which setups to go for depending on the situation

This assumes 11 STP on Rindomaru which seems feasible to spam the fight for, can be tweaked with small +/- adjustments depending on actual STP augment.

Looking for feedback for any changes that would improve any build and also which setup would be optimal for HNM/ZNM/etc and which would be best on standard Dynamis/Limbus/etc mobs (maybe this just equates to maximum damage potential of each set). Can assume +10 Acc/Str from Hasso. I have no plans to obtain an Usukane Body at this time, even though that seems like the most obvious improvement piece for a lot of the above sets. The requirement of Carbonara on the Hagun 5-Hit makes me think it probably won't work on anything that requires high acc.

I'm not a WAR, but Alky's or bust dawg. Use MKD head for godlike acc on your RR and bust out as much STR as you can. Tell that -DEX to go to hell!

Even if you don't have MKD head, I'm pretty sure Alky's is king.

Uhh....Usukane Somen. I've been told it's worthless for an Ace's SAM, and only used for MNK when Focus is down. Is it used over Turban on NIN as a TP piece? If so is it really worth it?, I'm contemplating whether I should be spending the money if I don't have full Usukane.
