Solution: Do Salvage while tossing Weskits at the random number generator now and then.
If you get lucky, upgrade another piece before Morrigans, yay!
If you don't get lucky, you're guaranteed to get the stats you're after on the robe eventually.

COR/WHM anyone?
If I ever went COR/WHM to anything, it would match the augments for my gun:

Though I'd rather fork my eyes out than have to go COR/WHM to things.
They really need to let people unaugment or reaugment items even if its a limited amount of times like the weapons.
I never said they were better, but he asked a question and I answered it.
They should let you unaugment FoV items for like 30k. Maybe 40k. Something that is expensive enough that it helps out the people who are crafting the cheap items like weskits sell them for a decent price (probably around 5k less than whatever the unaugment charge would be), but cheap enough that you can augment your more expensive items without concern (aside from I guess dying and losing it or d/cing and not getting it or whatever).
Almost all of my better gear is unavailable to augment, but even if it wasn't I wouldn't want to augment something like dusk gloves +1. Not so much because I'd be afraid of STR-2 on them or whatever, but because then I'm stuck with them forever. What happens if someone is WAR and DRK 75, and has Dusk Gloves +1, then in November patch they release Haste+5% hands for WAR/PLD/DRK? You're basically out 25M, in exchange for having Acc+5 at best for however long.
Taking these items out of the market, no matter how rare, is the goal isn't it?
I don't know what their goal is. If I had to imagine what SE's possible intended goals might have been, "taking items out of the market" wouldn't have been at the top of the list. But I know this is the sort of thing you'll probably want to argue with so I'll let you go ahead and we can leave it at that lol
