its not, I'm not even done MKD and I can tell you the last two fights have their own personalized neck and back pieces. The ring is a FoV augment.

According to ffxiah, the guy with the Acc on Ruby ring bought 2 ruby rings and an NQ weskit the day after the Augment preview announcement, so my money's on FoV and not some super rare ACP acc ruby ring (like rocl said, acc seemed to be on the angel rings only).

Cant post screenshots yet but i just did FoV Page 7 in VoS useing my HQ Ice Staff, Got Macc+1. Was Ice day, Waning Crescent (26%). Killed on SCH75/RDM37 with a Summoner71 useing Nocthelix and Netherblast.

I feel you on that one. Sucks hard to get sky gear later on without just joining another sky shell, which just isn't fun.

Wish I'd just leveled a melee job sooner.

Could be completely wrong here, and maybe I missed it, but it seems like Sky FoV seems to aug mostly melee stats, while VoS seems to aug mostly mage stats.

Can anyone provide proof otherwise?

Atm its speculation... but because of that speculation, people are bringing mostly mage items to VoS, and mostly melee items to Sky, just in case, which is why we're seeing mostly these particular results. Going to have a bunch of people purposely going against the grain to confirm, but the most likely answer is the simplest one - that its just plain random. My friend got +3 Agi on his errant slops in VoS, if that helps.

I've had a buddy on Sam augment 3-4 items now and all of them had some form of MND or elemental resistance. I got -2 Enmity on my genie weskit, -1 STR -1 DEX +1 VIT and 13 Ice on my Lamian Kaman and a friend got +2 MND on toreadors. All in VoS. If we start seeing melee stats when we do sky, I'll come back and let you know

Well not quite. In order for this pattern to solely occur because people choose to take it to one area over another, you need to make two assumptions:

Mage items get mage augments (If this weren't the case, then "these particular results" would not form a pattern since I'm just as likely to receive a STR+6 as I am INT+6)

People with melee augments on their mage items are just as likely to post images of mage items with mage augments.
