Here's a related question: Are the prices of HQ staves bound to fall any time soon (or in the distant future)?

I picked a hell of a time to hit 50 BLM. I'm still soloing and I have nearly a max INT build and two INT merits, so I may be able to get away with one-shotting without all the HQs, and a few like Pluto's and Vulcan's haven't really fluctuated yet, so I may be able to wait until end-game to see if the prices fall.

You can make up the damage by using a 5 INT cape and feet that don't suck, don't worry, you'll just be 1 INT short.
