Ya great system SE..... They made set augments for staves and it doesn't matter what staff you get it takes a random augment from this pool and sticks it on it.. how sad. They clearly just didn't want to bother making specific possibilities for each.

I recently saw someone with a Merman's Gorget augmented with Divine Magic Skill +1, dunno where they augmented from though. Maybe it's possible to get other magic skill augments?

A torque or a philomath stole with an enfeebling/elemental augment would be hot, if it was decent enough.

Has anybody tried augmenting a NQ Behemoth Knife? I don't recall ever seeing one in any of these threads.

Seems like a decent item to test augmenting in terms of price/potential effectiveness (for DNC, at least). On Carby, sells on AH for 6k, and can NPC it for 5k if you get a crap augment.

I might go and give it a shot. I'm pretty broke from trying to get my ebisu rod, so can't really afford an Azoth for my DNC. Maybe I'll try and beef-up a Behemoth Knife instead.

I know it's come up before, because a few people were like "magic evasion? wtf?" but I can't remember exactly what it was with regards to. I think the conclusion was that it's somehow linked to your chance to resist spells (hence them missing?). If there's been any testing, I've not seen it.

i wouldnt say there is a huge chance to completely resist a spell, but i did notice a couple times last night on ssr boss that charm would sometimes not last as long, like last one charmed and first to be uncharmed. my guess would be its +resist everything, or thats what i thought when i first saw it
