lazy ass
I fought this FoV NM twice today duo with nin/dnc and blu/nin. First fight was easy as cake, second fight it spawned with ice spikes that could not be dispeled. Spikes did 25-30 dmg each hit and para proced 80% time.
Watching NIN and THF. THF appears to be tanking it better with higher evasion. Intimidated the NIN several times. Used added effect slow. Slashing dmg seems the same if not then a 10% reduciton or w/e turtles have? SATA dncing edge highest I saw was 366 dmg. No magic attacks were used. Water blast or w/e it's called (filters on) did 50%+ hp to the nin before filters were turned off.
Ended with a Warwolf Belt with +14 earth resist.
Soloed it on rdm/nin, gravity and bind work, blizzard3 was doing like 10-15%, hitting me for 150. Probably soloable by most melees/nin.
When this thing spawns with en-petrify it sucks so fucking much.
Second time fighting this on RDM/NIN it spawned with en-curse dropping my max HP to under 400. Combine that with wind weather jumping my ass mid fight and an Elemental popping just feet away... I will miss you Aquilo's Staff.
Edit: Also seemed to be immune to both Slow and Paralyze in both instances. Like pchan said, bind and gravity both stick but its not really that useful not only because of the area limitations but also the masses of Raptors and Perytons wondering about ^^ (unless you kill them first...)
Fucker popped on us earlier with some hax additional effect: TP drain. Was still an easy kill with a SAM RNG WHM trio but the TP drain seemed pretty fierce, like 25-35 TP drained per hit or so I'd guess. Easily duoable, the buff it pops with will determine if soloable. I have died to the Beaucedine tiger on my level 60 something DRK/DNC because it had a very potent En-Paralyze that kept eating all my potions waltzes and drains. No telling what you're gonna get when you pop. ^^
Erm, somehow double posted. Disregard this!
It CAN be immune to paralyze depending on what buffs it has when it pops. It was immune once to me when it popped as ice-absorb (Bliz3 also healed it for 600hp). Normally though, it's very easy to paralyze.
This fight seems to be incredibly random. Sometimes I've fought it and nailed it in just over a minute.. other times it can drag on, have significantly more def/hp and Ice Spikes. Not sure if this has any bearing on the strength of the augment it produces.
