Uncanny Valley is an uncomfortable place. But there's no other way to have the orcs

Wait so are there already bad orc in the world and then orc Moses brings over nice orc? Or are they all the same orc
there's that half orc half human in the trailer so orcs must been around a while?
I really don't mind the CGI tbh, but the human actors looks awkward/uncomfortable in their roles as fuck, and also, Paulla Patton? lol she's going to be the worst part about this movie, bad decision.
Maybe I'm getting too used to these LoTR/300 type CGI big battle scenes in trailers, but can't say I'm hyped. I never played the Warcraft RTS, but the lore in WoW was interesting to me. Trailer seemed like they are trying to do too much in one film.
as long as it's better than D&D I'm fine with anything
Honestly Lotr and the hobbit are probably the best fantasy style movies that will ever come out for the foreseeable future. I say just take the Warcraft movie for what it is and have no expectations. I for one am still excited to see it.
Not all the orcs drink the demonic blood and become possessed. The frostwolves (Thrall's clan, he's probably that baby orc) were the main clan, and one of the most powerful, that did not. They find their own home on Azeroth, Alterac Valley. The story seems to be Warcraft 2 + 3, or maybe just 3 with a bit of intro going over 2.
Basically it'll be humans vs orcs, then oh shit here comes the burning legion gotta play nice or everyone dies. There will be a good bit of fighting.
Although looking at it, there is another clip with Varian + Sylvanas fighting demons in a big airship battle. And I have no idea when this would be, so maybe it'll just brush over the RTS games and some of WoW? Honestly haven't paid much attention to the information about it. I think I'd rather be surprised if I go to see it.
varian + sylvanas is in the trailer for the next WoW expansion
Ugh...
The one during Star Wars was so much better to get behind.
0:20 Uhh, is that supposed to be Dalaran?
They're really not paying any heed to lore. Warcraft certainly isn't a setting grounded in reality, but it was significantly more so pre-Warcraft III.
Dalaran isn't a floating island until WotLK. And the movie depiction looks more like something out of Avatar, anyway...
Similarly, in the gryphon-flying-over-Stormwind shot, it shows the Valley of Heroes, with statues of the heroes of WC2: Beyond the Dark Portal. They're recreating modern Stormwind from WoW, rather than WC1 Stormwind. Slightly anachronistic, considering Khadgar is actually a character in the movie.

Blizzard is considering a package deal, unknown for DVD or ticket release, that includes WoW plus all expansions, and a free month sub.
This is one thing that might "return" me to Wow after 8 years, thou briefly. I hope it will be worth our money.
Exactly.
