Say what? If you could run XI, you could run easily WC3. It came out 14 years ago.

Yeah. 3 wasn't really a a hog even at release.

Yeah, the computer I had before this one couldn't really run XI either. There's a reason I played the PS2 version of XI, and that was it.

Just got back from it. Definitely exceeded my expectations. May not be movie of the year or anything, but it was a solid fantasy film for Warcraft fans imo. Some critiques are justified, but considering the eggshells they had to walk on to not upset fans I feel like they really pulled it off.

Aside from the love story, movie was pretty solid for me. The gf was bored to sleep, literally, but I enjoyed it and what little easter eggs I noticed from playing Hearthstone and HotS lol.

RE1 was great too tho. Like, unfairly good for how terrible the sequels are. Watchable, but terrible. This is definitely top 5 though, and I'm afraid Prince of Persia probably takes the top spot.

I'll give you that it came out awhile ago and so you might not remember, but that movie was legit well done. It held up on its own as a movie, nevermind that it was based on a video game. Jake Gyllenhal was the bomb in that movie.

It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't amazing. I'd say the Prince of Persia movie was just a notch or two worse than Warcraft.

Prince of Persia is the second highest rated video game movie on Metacritic at 50/100(Mortal Kombat is 58/100). Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within is the highest on Rotten Tomatoes at 44%.

Meanwhile, Alone in the Dark is the worst on both sites.

MK1 was well done, but because of that ending I can't help but lump it together with Annihilation which wasn't a terrible video game movie, but was a terrible movie.
