I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who makes heavy use of that little button by thread names that makes you jump to the first new post made in the thread since your last viewing in it.

I'm also pretty sure I'm not the only one who gets annoyed with the feature continually refocusing your browser's position onto that mentioned new post as the thread itself loads. Is there a means of turning that portion of it off? It's a bitch browsing image-heavy pages just to have my page jump back randomly a few seconds after scrolling.


[EDIT] Thanks for the title fix, it looks like the forum dies trying to create a URL of a thread that has dashes in it, since it has those reserved for spaces in the link.
