The screenshots are good enough for me. Adding a new Bloodpact Rule to the Compilation on KI.

It does also limit the value of BP timer - gear now..
    but seems reasonable.

allowing players to fit in 5 Astral Flow BPs can be seen as broken, even as 2hrs go. AFBPs at 75 aren't exactly the strongest, but are deadly useful in the correct situation (like Einherjar).. being able to just do 1 more could easily contribute to an additional 10+k damage.. (you can also totally do that with Random Deal, but thats not my point here)

..but at least we know that theres a cap now.. just as theres a cap on perp -, and spirit timer, as i vaguely seem to recall.

Man, I didn't think anything of it because my gear has me at exactly BP-15 with the Crozier.

That sucks. Thanks for finding it out, but that sucks.

What would a Summoner put in those slots during BP activation? All of our applicable gear slots get swapped for +Smn. Skill and Enhances Avatar X in the time between activation and animation anyway.

    Tested myself too, it's capped. No screenshots (360 limitations). Also, you cannot macro between two Fay Crozier's, got one with perpep-3, mab+3; other bp delay-4 att+7 mab+2, and gives an error message when you macro it in with both in inventory ; ;

To tell you the truth, I'm rather glad there's a cap on -bp timers. I wasn't looking forward to trying to get perfect stats for 3 augments on my Fay Crozier, so I welcome this. I am annoyed to find out about the Mythic Pole's possible 10 smn skill. I'm still weighing whether it's worth it for me to go get it, seeing as I have a Bahamut's Staff already.

Well, there being a hard cap on -BP isn't that much of a shock, considering that there's about a hard cap everywhere else in the game.

If anything, it means that the ideal is to fit all the -BP stuff into one macro (for us non-PC users).

perfecting a mythic pole is for someone like me really, its easier to get +30 in other ways, and you don't need +10 on it for a +60 build, if you are that serious on summoner. its really for perfectionists/ocders who want to epeen out a >400 siphon with triple bonus and a perfect +skill build. any summoner should be happy with >5 on mythic pole, it serves it's purpose that way, as an alternative to bahamuts.

At this point there's no reason not to go for a perfect pole, as there's nothing signifying a cap on smn skill as accuracy so far.

To be fair, it's like any other skill as accuracy, in that there may not be a cap, but there may be a point of diminishing returns. This is where adding more and more SMN skill will do very little in terms of adding accuracy to attacks. Where that point is, no one really knows at this point. But, if I were to venture a guess, I would say that it would be around 320 or so. Any SMN past that point would just be epeen fodder. Then it again, it really depends on what's being fought.

Ok summoners. Is this or af2 feet better? And is there any way to test?

Well, my Smn is only missing +2 skill on all gear possible (Marduk's Tiara), excluding a perfect mythic pole. I'm not meriting Smn skill though.

they are largely unparsed, but i'd still use smn pigaches+1 for the avatar enmity+2 and the bp-2, saves some space that way.

where did you get those stats anyway?

Crawlers nest ANNM. Well with the new bp findings I'm starting to see it as less of a useful stat.

Point is, you wouldn't need to.

Bit of a late question but was there an agreeable amount of SMN skill needed before you could usually wear whatever else? Such as AFv2 feet vs Austere (or Nash) or SMN torque vs avatar torque after the initial glowing of the BP of course. I am a paranoid person when it comes to accuracy so I tend to throw in SMN skill wherever. Been using Herald's Subligar as well since I think it was more consistant accuracy than Evoker's Spats...

General consensus is that around 320-330 is a pretty good skill range.

Pretty much this. The high level Aerns are whores for evasion, so a good merit BP will do a significantly better job here for less effort required.

new caps across the weapon are atk+8, mab+4, perp-3 bp-5.

best weapon from that would be..
    macro piece:
    atk+8 mab+4 bp-1(+)

    or dual perp -3s:
    perp-3 mab+4 bp-1(+)
    perp-3 atk+8 bp-1(+)

I'm going for a bp-x att+8 mab+4 for group shit, and a perp-3 att+8 and a big additional dmg for solo stuff. Already have a perp-3 att+4 mab+3 for soloing stuff with nether blast and general use meanwhile.

    holy shitcocks.

hell, you no longer even need fay crozier with -bp, you could use this, or use both and op out some of the lesser used relic pieces (legs)
