oh man diaz vs hendo 123 go
I missed the whole "Hendo leaving UFC" thing. Anyone have any background story on that?
he was just a free agent, couldnt come to an agreement with dana
I'm fairly sure if hendo didn't get an impressive KO over bisping he would have re signed with the UFC. A bunch of interviews with him he kept bringing that KO up and how it was seen by so many people. I think he overvalued himself based on that 1 fight.
He was treated pretty well by the UFC (first 2 fights were title fights) and his anderson rematch which he so desperately wants would likely end up the exact same way as the first fight so I can see why the UFC was tentative about that rematch.
If he's making more money in Strikeforce, which the way he's talking that's how it is, good for him.
UFC didn't want to pay him what his pride contract did , $350k for the bisping fight for eg... they wanted to be paying him 80-120k.
The next strikeforce card is pretty legit - going to be entertaining.

Just heard about this:

Mariusz Pudzianowski (5 time winner of the World's Strongest Man competition) is making his MMA debut in a couple of days. Apparently he has some martial arts and boxing background, so I wonder if he will be any good in the ring.
I saw a vid of him striking and although it wasn't terrible it was a lot of arm punching, especially when he got tired. I don't think his cardio will be good at all with all those muscles but it will be interesting to see what he can do while he is still fresh. Does anyone know how much he weighs?

He's 127 kg (280 lbs).
He's fighting a pro-boxer as well...this might end badly.
Condit's out for 108. Sliced his finger to the bone.
Too bad, I was interested in that fight.
Was watching Jim Rome today and they were talking about the mayweather pac man fight and one of the writers, called MMA fans beer guzzling red neck idiots.
To be fair, MMA has way, way douchier fans than boxing, but redneck beer guzzling wouldn't be the first or 15th way I'd describe them.
better than being called homosexual skinheads at least
