Speaking as someone who lives 30 mins away from Toronto, God I hope MMA becomes legalized here. Would finally be able to see a live show. I'm doubtful about it though. Probably would've heard about it already.

It's probably a fan expo or something.

I'm about an hour and a half out of TO, and would LOVE to see a live event at the Rogers Centre. I've gone to Montreal twice (UFC 83 and 113), but none of them would compare to a sold out Rogers with 60 thousand MMA fans chanting "GSP, GSP!"

Also, Lorenzo Fertita is going to be there, so I'm very hopeful.

I would be surprised if it was ontario being legalized because it's something that requires the law to be changed/clarified which probably wouldn't have happened already without us knowing it in advance.

I'd say it's probably some announcement on the legalizing heading in the right direction and then doing a canada vs usa TUF show (since it's GSP vs kos) maybe in canada.

When he's in shape and done a proper training camp he's pretty lethal.
Needs to move his ass to a proper gym though, and use his strengths.

It's sad when you watch him fight and he doesn't go for takedowns despite his wrestling ability and the effect of a takedown or two per round on the score of fights.

Damn amir had to ruin the 'left side wins' thing that seems to often happen.

I do think a top condition rampage smashes rashad really bad but the feeling I get watching the primetime is that rampage is telling us and not showing us that he is in great shape and with rashad it is actually being shown. The bit where rampage talks about how he hasn't ran some distance so quickly ever before seemed forced from him like he wants to convince us, and possibly himself, that he is in peak form.

I still think rampage can win if only because rashad tires himself out when he wrestles and I think that is what he would need to do to win.
