Ubereem fights constantly, just not in Strikeforce often.

If he knocks Hari down once that shit is over. Ubereem isn't much of a takedown specialist but that would probably be his best move in this one.

Even though this is an MMA bout, I'm surprised he's willing to risk taking on this fight. I know they have a grudge against one another, but Hari's striking is better than Overeem's... and if this stays standing, Overeem has a real chance at losing.

Just got around to watching 114...Net was down on and off when it was airing so couldn't stream.

Rashad was very disappointing. With the shape he was in and his speed he should have been able to do a lot more damage in that fight. It seemed to me he was only worried about scoring points.

So...disregard this. Overeem posted it on his twitter as a joke after what Hari did the other night in his fight. If you don't follow kickboxing, Hari got DQ'd for soccer kicking a downed opponent. He also lost a fight last year for face stomping another guy...so Overeem was joking that since he wants to do MMA so bad he should.

It's awesome that a guy who has competed in 1 fight for a no name promotion is considered an MMA fighter.

Regardless, that's impressive. I'm really wondering what he was on.

rampage needs to work some more on his takedown defense and his clinch work..

Honestly, this can mostly be attributed to ring rust. Especially in takedown defense Rampage has always been pretty solid (I think the prefight stuff said 77%+?), but the guy hadn't been in a fight in 15 months, so he was definitely not up to his usual standards.

Honestly, this can mostly be attributed to ring rust. Especially in takedown defense Rampage has always been pretty solid (I think the prefight stuff said 77%+?), but the guy hadn't been in a fight in 15 months, so he was definitely not up to his usual standards.

He got thrown around in the clinch by Wanderlei also. That has never been a strong suit of his, I'm assuming because he was a freestyle wrestler and not a Greco Roman wrestler. Matt Lindland threw his ass around the cage at will for a bit as well. Sorry, as a Greco wrestler myself, clinch is very important to me. I don't care how good of a freestyle wrestler you are, if you get in the clinch with someone who is very strong and experienced with it, they will wear you down quickly.

Of course, cutting 45 lbs right before a fight is never a good idea either. lol

So the UFC tickets up here in Vancouver sold out 30 minutes after being released a few months back. Scalpers got most of them hoping to make profit on the markup. Turns out people aren't THAT interested in UFC and there is now a glut of tix on craigslist. The stadium could be half full for this lol.

As lame as the last fight was does nobody else find it rediculously frustrating that Josh Bryan already beat Kris Mccray earlier in the round selections only to loose out on a place in the final. I know they needed another fighter due to injury and what not but serioulsy its really annoying

I agree. Terrible fight and terrible concept with the wildcard. Bringing Court back due to other injuries was a great move though. I thought Court Mcgee vs Brad Tavares was awesome. To be perfectly honest their fight was a lot better than some recent PPV fights lol. Unless Kris does a lot of smart training I don't think he'll even get close to beating Court.
