Disappointed in Thiago for his fight and pissed at Liddell's fight. Like 5 seconds left and he left himself that open. I was really excited though when I saw those flurry of fists start flyin'.

Well I just watched the fights.

I was pretty pissed at the Rory stoppage, partly because I picked Rory to win, and because I think it was a weak stoppage even though he was getting his ass beat. If it wasn't stopped I think it would have been a draw, but who knows, some of the judges probably only had the third round 10-9.

I also picked Barry to win but I'm very glad to see Mirko put on a good fight. Wasn't that super tentative fighter we have seen recently but he did benefit greatly from Barry slowing down late. Maybe he can fight Rothwell next since that fight was planned for Germany.

Yeah, that last round probably should've been 10-8, but when does that ever happen. Condit got pretty lucky.

Was a really good show, partially because I wasn't expecting much I believe. Cro Cop looked pretty good...I hope they keep Pat around, dude broke his hand and foot in the first round and still made it a good fight. The Danzig stoppage was idiotic...just take the guy who's doing the subs word that the guy is out without checking? lol

Chuck wasn't looking too bad, just sloppy, until that KO...and Franklin really let him have it when he went down. Kinda surprised me that he didn't just pull back and let the ref stop it since that's what kind of guy he is. All in all though, great night of fights and well worth my money.

Strikeforce is saying the winner of Babalu v Lawler will get a title shot in their respective weight class...which may be the most twisted logic I've ever heard, but w/e. I think Babalu will take him down and sub him in the second...then again...Robbie can always KO you with one punch.

Was there any specific reason said for why Rory slowed down so much in the third, he didn't look too tired at the end of the second so it seemed to come on all of a sudden. Maybe it was partly due to him fighting differently because of the facial injury he got.

I would say it was due to the eye. No depth perception can really take you out of your element. I had my left eye swollen shut in my first fight and I felt like JCVD in Bloodsport...cue Dimmauk's sig. lol
