Guess he converted from Coors to Bud since last year, unless Dana got out the whip ahead of time so he doesn't do what he did after beating Mir.

Lesnar acting like a decent human being is cool, but I could actually seeing people being less interested when he acts like a non douche bag. I think quite a few people have been watching cause they want to see him lose after the antics he put up after a few of his fights. I guess almost dying can make you a little more humble though :X

That was the joke, he just named off the big three sponsers unlike last year when he bashed Budweiser in his post fight rant. He really isn't a douche...he just had the mindset that it was easy to play the heel and get cheap heat on fights, which it is. I think the near death experience was a wakeup call to him and he realized that cheap heat isn't always good. MMA doesn't need all the fake drama of wrestling to be intriguing, its appeal is built into it. We are hardwired to like fighting. The old analogy that Dana throws out of if there's a basketball game on one corner, a football game on another, a baseball game on a third, and a fight breaks out on the fourth...everyone will stop and watch the fight. It is just how we are and it is totally right.

It was also nice to see Harris recognize the guy was out and didn't punch anymore. Had a guy like Palhares been in that place he would have probably gone for a kneebar on an unconscious Branch.

Is anyone else having trouble loading the Post Fight Coference? The only source i can find is the one on the UFC website but it wont load passed Chris Leben talking, it just freezes up there. I really want to watch it but wont work. Doesnt seem to be any other sources.

Anyone else have this trouble?

Awesome night of fights last night! I didnt get home till late, and was too drunk to even try to post.

There were alot of people that were pissed that the Ref didnt stop the fight, but you could clearly see Lesner wasnt out of it, and was still about to defend. You know the Lesner haters were ready to post the Lesner is a hack just like Kimbo posts, but now there is no doubt that he is for real. I thought Lesner would have some ring rust, and maybe he did in the first round.

Also, much respect for the Crippler. That was a huge win for him.

Funny how the 2 fights I thought were probably going to be KO's ended in Subs. LOL

There's a fair amount of Lesnar venom on Sherdog, which has really broken down more into the definition of "intelligently defending yourself."

I can't even go on Sherdog anymore without wanting to invent a device to crawl through computers and beat people to death. It is the lowest denominator of MMA fan and it makes me sad that they have a partnership with ESPN. Besides the shitty boards, the reporting on that site makes me question whether they really even like the sport. They report more about negatives than any other site out there and it's a real shame because it's the first MMA site a new fan will see more than likely.

Rosenthal did a great job not stopping the fight because Brock wasn't really getting hit with most of the big shots on the ground. He would turn and throw a punch or two back for every 5 that Shane threw at his arms and that let the ref know he was aware and he was defending himself. I think Brock should've tried to improve his position earlier than he did, but w/e. I was happy for him after the win because I think that was the most genuine moment of happiness we've seen from him. When he came out for the second round and he was smiling and wanting to high five Carwin...that was awesome. I think he grew as a fighter last night and found a love of fighting that he may not have had before.
