Stupid question but i dn't feel like looking it up and im on here now anyone know when and on what channel i can catch Brock's next fight i want to watch him run like a little girl again
ufc 121 late october and on the ppv channel or the stream channel
I heard in Under Siege 2 they had to speed up the film of the other fighters and slow down the film of Steven Seagal. Dude is legit. Fighting on tops of trains and shit.
Two Words: Cock Puncher!
In all seriousness Seagal was an amazingly well respected martial artist (and still is) prior to his movie career, same as Dolph Lundgren. They just made so many god awful movies that no one remembers that anymore.

The man, myth, and legend. This is my favorite martial arts actor ever, I own 30 of his 50 movies, and easily one of the baddest MF'ers around in his day. He swam from China to Hong Kong to escape communism. He trained with and was great friends with Bruce Lee. He still owns a ton of bodybuilding records in China, and both his sons bodybuild now. The dude is in his 70's and still massive. I met him when I was 5, when I first came to America and spoke hardly any English. My adopted father, who was a bodybuilder, knew him and they would hang out occasionally. He taught me traditional Mongolian wrestling...said that every Mongolian, be it half or whole, should know how to wrestle, ride a horse, and shoot a bow. Such an amazing guy...unbelievably strong also. Those were not "show" muscles. He is still the biggest Asian man I've ever met. I owe him a lot about being proud of my background and not ashamed of it.
PS: Not to say that Seagal isn't a badass...he is definitely the real deal.
Edit: can't think of a better post to ding 1k on.^^
Bolo Yeung is the shit. Loved that guy since I was a kid. Got any recommendations for favorite movies of his? I've only ever seen the Bruce Lee ones/NA films.
The Fists, the Kicks, and the Evil; both of the Shootfighter movies he got to play a good guy, which was rare; I personally like a lot of the Bruce Li/Bruce Le (the ghetto Bruce Lee's) movies he was in as well...Big Bad Bolo is good, of course Bloodsport is awesome and he speaks English...kinda...in it. A lot of the ones I have are Chinese movies that are horrible...but fun to watch even if I understand nothing. lol He is listed as his birth name in quite a few of the older movies, Yang Sze. Changed his name to Bolo after the Bruce Lee movies.
he was always the scariest bad guy to me as a child
He was the same bad guy in Double Impact too. That guy was scary as shit when I was a kid lol.
I've only seen the guy in Enter the Dragon and Bloodsport. Memorable characters though. Only crazy ripped asian dude in history.
Chinese Hercules
This isn't your grandmothers MMA (female tournament). Bellator 24 incoming tommorow.
"Super" fight:
Hector Lombard vs. Herbert Goodman
Tournament bouts:
Eddie Sanchez vs. Neil Grove
Megumi Fujii vs. Carla Esparza
Jessica Aguilar vs. Lynn Alvarez
Non-Tournament Bouts:
Yves Edwards vs. Luis Palomino
Eric Luke vs. Farkhad Sharipov
Tulio Quintanilla vs. Brian Eckstein
Mostly it's just about the destruction that Lombard and Megumi will wreak upon their opponents.
Is Fujii fighting another 1-0 opponent or is this one quasi-legit?
3-0 in MMA, two-time NCAA all american wrestler. Megu could get pounded out on the ground here. It's possible, if unlikely.
The tournament itself has some decent female prospects.
"7-1 knockout artist Zoila Frausto, 12-5 Seattle submission specialist Lisa Ward, 7-0 Southern California striker Jessica Pene, 5-1 Las Vegas-based powerhouse Lynn “Lights Out” Alvarez, 9-0 Irish sensation Aisling Daly, and 8-4 American Top Team product Jessica Aguilar."
So a few undefeated ladies in there, and a couple with only 1 loss.
I think this is a good start for womens flyweight MMA, as it doesn't have a definitive champion atm (people just assume Megu is)... After this tournament, there will be.
