I like how, being that Palhares is an expert in heelhooks, the moment Nate slipped out he acted as if the point to his corner would cause a brief stop in the fight.

He's so used to just ripping peoples appendages off, he was like "wtf mate". Would of enjoyed a 2/3 combo KO though, not that weak tko displayed.

The rematch won't happen anymore. Even if Sonnen decides to appeal, it'll only delay the process of him receiving a suspension. For banned substances like steroids, it's usually a year; meaning the UFC wouldn't want to take the chance in giving Sonnen a chance at the belt only to have him sit on the shelf for an entire year.

What I assume is going to happen: Marquardt replaces Belfort for the main event in Germany, and Belfort gets the next immediate shot at Silva in February.

I was thinking about this, but I was thinking along the lines of UFC matchmaking. What if Okami wins? What if Belfort gets injured during the fight? Okami/Silva is probably the worst case scenario for the UFC, as Okami is as marketable as a wet sock, and also has the same hampering wrestling style as Sonnen, except with some actual submission defence. I also assumed that Silva isn't going to want to sit further past Feb just incase the winner of the bout gets injured.

Anyway, my prediction for the next few months if Belfort/Okami goes through: Okami by dec. against Belfort, then wins again versus Silva by dec.

I don't see Okami's wrestling style as being that successful vs anderson. He doesn't really shoot a double/single so anderson can probably stay away from a body lock with his footwork for much of the fight. If they do clinch I think Okami can get it to the ground where he will probably have less offense than Chael but is also much less submission prone.

Yeah, it's kind of ironic. I think Okami will beat Belfort, but I don't think Okami has a chance against Silva. But I think Vitor would beat Anderson.

I'm not so sure either of them can beat Anderson really...but I think Belfort is a much more exciting fight for sure. I have him beating Okami and losing to Silva. I really just wanna be selfish and see Vitor vs Wandy. lol

So...funny story...friend of mine is in a bar in FL and there are a few fighters hanging out there. One of the 145'ers comes up to this girl and hits on her with the amazing line of "You know what the UFC is?"...answer: "Yes..."...him: "I fight for them."...girl: "Maybe the WEC, you are tiny."...guy: "Well...yeah, but it's the same thing!" He got offended and left. Thought it was hilarious that a random girl in a club called his ass out on his shitty line and even knew what the WEC was.

That's the part that really stood out to me. Calling out Lance for some shit you're doing at the same time is a whole other level of crazy. Why even open that can of worms? I think the guy has some real problems, besides being part of one of the more notorious camps for cheating.
