even though the first 2 were basically equal they will go to mir for the fencing work, third so far is CC but that won't matter I think

what was that
wow what a knee.
Worst card ever.
Frank Mir via random knee.
Too bad Mir put the crowd to sleep before Mirko.
Wait what, something happened? My stream died at 2 minutes to go and I didn't bother picking it back up cause the fight was so dull
frank spent 13 minutes storing energy into his knee and then decided to throw it at the end and ko'd CC
I fucking hate Germany, not really I love it here, it's bullshit when I have to stay up until 7AM to watch all the relevant fights get screwed by either horrible judging or lazy fighters. UFC 119 was bad and Dana White should feel bad. One of the worst cards in recent memory, would've rather watched Anderson Silva show off his dancing skills again.
well if you count the spike card there were several good fights but the last 2 sucked the wind out
Sounds like the best thing that happened was the new octagon girl. Good thing I went out tonight.
wat
no, NO
Cecil Peoples destroying perfection yet again
that's prolly what i miss most about Pride, it's a god damn fight first and foremost and you have to be hiiiiiiigh to think Sherk won a fight against Dunham.
bad card. Dream was pretty bad too. rough weekend for MMA.
Pride had bad judging too... Just in a different way.
Oh yeah Pride had horrible Nihon-centric, Yakuza-fixed-judging some of the time, I just meant their criteria was better as they judged a fight in its entirety not the 10-point must system which works for boxing but doesn't belong in MMA.
Dunham did 10x the amount of damage in round 3 than Sherk did in the entire fight.
Needs something about leg kicks on that box.
No knockout of the night award for Mir. Instead they gave 2 FotN bonuses.
Fight of the Night (1) — Matt Mitrione vs. Joey Beltran
Fight of the Night (2) — Evan Dunham vs Sean Sherk
Submission of the Night — CB Dollaway
Glad Dunham got it. It was a great fight ending with a shitty decision.
The judging system in MMA is really killing me these days. I think the best example nowadays is watching Frankie Edgar fight. While yes, he did win his rematch with Penn clean, you can tell the way he's fighting is based solely off scoring points, not even pretending that this is supposed to be a "fight." MMA bouts these days are starting to look more and more like taekwondo matches, where all the moves are geared towards impressing the judges and scoring, not actually trying to do damage.
