Just got done watching Bellator 34. Pretty disappointed by Lombards performance, I was expecting him to knock Schlemenko's spinning fairy head off. If Lombard worked on his BJJ he'd be scary.

Yeah, that knee comment totally got to him. And I love how he tries to spin it like he was the victim. Stay classy.

I'm surprised that Dana didn't do some on camera reprimand to Kos considering Dana's sensitivity to his fighters acting like thugs. I woulda thought one of his "top" fighters attacking a non-fighter would warrant that.

On a side note, if I was a medic and someone called me a male nurse, I doubt that I would take that as an insult. A nurse makes like 2-3 times more than your average medic. Yeah, I know there's that Meet the Fockers stigma of being a male nurse but is that still the case today?

He actually did show improved stand-up and opened up with GnP later in the fight. Couldn't get too much going but Vasquez's control from rubber-guard was excellent.

Also he tried a sweet frontflip guard pass.

And the card was pretty nice, the Swanson fight was a fast-paced brawl and Benavidiez is just damn impressive. Second BJJ black-belt he's choked out. The main event was kind of anticlimactic but it should produce a great rematch between Faber and Cruz.

And it seems like the WEC produces more headkick knockouts than any other organization.
