Bob sapp has reached a new level of breaking down when he gets hit in a fight. He has now, through intense training, learned to break down before the fight ever starts hours before the event.

19 seconds Duffee...really?
It was duffee's fault to bring a chin into the ring, didn't he know Overeem wins his fights by hitting the chin? Oh, and it's 19 more seconds than sapp lasted
Clearly, this win justifies Overeem as the #1 HW. Clearly...
Any other good fights to check out at work (read: short) from DREAM?
Here's the Overeem fight: http://video.mma-tv.net/?z=16654
The Aoki fight is worth watching, I got plenty of laughs out of that one
AHAHAHAHAHA that's fucking amazing.

"Oh ya, now it's the MMA roundand Aoki is going to.... oh, well then"
Is there seriously a single person here routing for Maynard? I do not want that guy to be champion, he sucks. Decision, decision, decision, it's all he knows. Boring ass needs to learn how to finish a fight, which is pretty retarded considering he somehow holds the record for fastest K.O.
So...he's a lightweight GSP?
Wrestlers ruin MMA, this is nothing new.
Nah...he's worse.
As a guy with a wrestling base, I hate to think that I would use that as a crutch to just eek out a win. My foremost thought about fighting is that besides the competition, at a base level, it's about entertaining the crowd. I think of it like being a gladiator in ancient rome. You absolutely want to win, but if you win in a way that isn't entertaining...you're killing your career. Make that crowd love you and love to watch you fight and they won't care if you lose a few. Hi2u Chris Leban. Win every fight but bore us to death and nobody will care what happens to you.
Nowadays, you only need to lose one boring fight and you're out the door. Proof of concept: Gerald Harris
Guys like Chris Lytle could lose a million fights and I don't think he'd ever lose his job.
If GSP is so boring why do people still love him? Why does he draw the biggest crowds the UFC has ever seen? Why if in April in Toronto he will bring 65k people to the rogers center? Hate on GSP all you want, but if you actually watch his fights even if he wins by decision it is rarely boring.
Comparing GSP to Maynard is pretty dumb, at least GSP finished a lot more people. The only Maynard fight I enjoyed was the one against Diaz because he completely punked him.
what about all the people he leaves needing to have facial reconstruction or brain surgery? Wrestling has pretty much become a MUST HAVE for any serious mma contender in any class these days. At least gsp does it without sitting there doing nothing. He is constantly passing/ throwing submissions/ laying hard gnp. Yeah sure it would be more "entertaining" if everyone in mma just stood up never wrestled never clenched never took anyone down and just threw punches at each other like in the griffin and bonner fight... but then again that is not what it is meant to be. For now wrestling is dominant, I have a good feeling that eventually this will even out and it won't end up with one person on top of the other for 15 minutes in the future. Look at the last gsp fight with kos, it was all standup. Just saying that you can hate a fighter as much as you want and that is your opinion which is probably why you label all of gsps fights as boring. Sure there are times I wish he would have done a bit more to finish a guy, but never once have I watched one of his fights and thought I had wasted my time.
David Loiseau, is that you? The biggest problem people have with GSP in the last couple years is that he is fighting every fight to not lose. He hasn't taken any chances in a long time. He is one of the most gifted athletes in the UFC, yet he decides to wrestle Dan Hardy for 25 minutes. Dan Hardy. Yeah, he outboxed Kos...but he never really went for the finish. I don't care if people use wrestling, as long as they make it exciting. Wrestling is a necessary part of fighting. If you don't know how to stop a takedown you will get planted on your back and your face bashed in. I love good GnP...but saying that GSP is making people get facial reconstruction or brain surgery is hilarious.
I absolutely do NOT want fights to end up as pure stand up. I watch K1 for that. I do, however, want guys to actually try and finish the other guy. I have no problem with GSP as a fighter, I just think his coaches make these gameplans that worry too much about losing. That whole stable of fighters really. Greg Jackson just needs to realize that winning is not important if the crowd hates you. If I'm not mistaken, I heard you canadians booing GSP during the Kos fight...so I don't think he's the Bret Hart of MMA just yet.
