Well, I guess it does make sense for a Lesnar/Dos Santos bout if Cain is out for six~eight months. Still stupid though, should've been FW or BW coaches.

Torres/Faber was what I was hoping too. Great coaches and a great fight.

JDS and Brock aren't really coach material. JDS will bring in Luis Carlos Dorea/Nog/Anderson and use them as the real coaches. Brock's camp will be the Erik Paulson show... Actually now that I think about it, Andre Galvao tried out for TUF 13. If he gets in, it'll be super awkward since he's one of JDS' BJJ coaches.

TUF coach "teaching" one of his coaches? Yeah...

People are crazy hating these coaches.
Dos Santos is a legit striking boss, and his coaching team will be full of Black House coaches.

Lesnar has showed good progression as well and although I'd expect him to have the weaker coaching team, it should be decent.

We're not saying these coaches suck, were just saying Faber/Torres would have been a funner season :X At least I am.

They want to build up Dos Santos's profile since there's a good chance he can beat Lesnar/Cain, and Lesnar is still the highest profile cash cow in the company's history. Makes sense from a business stand point even if it is a little disappointing.

Sure wouldn't mind having Lesnar run wrestling drills for me if I was a fighter though, or working pads with JDS. JDS comes from a great camp too, imagine his guys will get a lot out of the assistant coaches.

I don't know how serious Lesnar will be about coaching. The fact that it took so long to be announced makes me think it took a lot of convincing so if he phones it in it wouldn't surprise me. A lot of Lesnars excitement comes from his beastly appearance and his in cage work which will mostly be absent here so his, often chilly, personality could be a problem.

Hopefully next season will be a 135-145 season because those weights haven't been drained nearly as much as the higher weights.

agree sir. both are awesome guys and not too well known which would help them gain fans but also not bring in a lot of eyes. brock is obviously gonna bring in kimbo-esque ratings.

i think bigfoot gets pwned. i also think the bracket is retarded now because they said the reems title is not on the line, they are fighting for a newly created grand prix belt. reem should be on the other side. fedor v reem > fedor v barnett in the finale

Really? I read something different, every Reem match was going to be a title bout so that the GP champion end's up being the SF HW champion as well. Bigfoot is going to get clocked by the way. Would be hilarious to see him win but very doubtful, the shit storm M-1 would bring though if that were to happen would be A+ entertainment.
