Probably confused Roop for Hominick? The fight I saw was Roop falling into Hominick's arms almost passing out after the fight.
Hominick won? Wanker friend is fucking with me. I'm still at work so I haven't been able to watch the fights yet.
I'm assuming Barry won too, or is that a fabrication?
lawlz, nice friend
Roop was running scared the entire fight and Hominick stalked him down and knocked him down with nearly every punch he threw.
Barry won, but very unimpressively. He was lazy and sloppy out there and Beltran must've landed three or four times as many punches. Pat won because of leg kicks that literally crippled Beltran by the end of the fight but he went away from them for extended periods of times. Dude is skilled but mentally this fight leaves a lot of questions if he can put together a gameplan to utilize his considerable, but limited, talents.
Guillard was the most impressive tonight for my money, he just tore Dunham apart on the feet and didn't have much problem with the kid's awesome grappling game. It'll probably be different when he runs into a wrestler of Maynard or Edgar's caliber but I wouldn't mind seeing it if he gets another win or two, after the rematch and Pettis/Guida/Sot/Miller/whoever the fuck ever is getting a title shot next. Lightweight division is getting crowded.
He does it to me now and then after I told him Anderson lost to Maia. This wasn't a big card so I wasn't expecting it tbh.
what other lies did he tell you about this card
Nothing else seems out of order. He knows Hominick/Jabouin is one of my favourite fights of 2010, so probably why he had Roop winning. Gonna check these out once I wake up tommorow.
I had never seen or heard of Hominick. When I saw him on the pre hype video I thought he kind of sounded like a wuss. He's kind of like Joe Lauzon in the sense where he doesn't look like a fighter but he will just fucking dismantle anyone. Going to be a good title fight for sure.
So... Fedor vs Bigfoot is coming up. Any picks so far? Might as well ask now, anyone confident for picks for the entire bracket?
FEDOR vs SILVA - I swear this isn't biased! Fedor just has much more experience, and even more to prove now so he is going to come full fucking force and take it to Silva. Definitely predicting a KO or TKO stoppage, maybe even an old school pride armbar/sub on the giant ugly ass? Who knows but I definitely know he will win.
UBEREEM vs WERDOOMED - Ubereem by knockout, no doubt he is going to want revenge for that snaked victory by Werdum earlier in his career. I don't think Werdum is strong enough to hold down Alistair long enough to even get into a sub.
ARLOVSKI vs KHARINOTOV - Actually I really don't know.. this is the only one where I think it could go either way. In terms of the bracket progression I would like to see Arlovski get another shot, I mean he did sort of almost overwhelm Fedor.. until he rushed in too fast like a moron and got KTFO.
ROGERS VS BARNETT - Barnett is definitely going to be strong enough to hold Rogers down, probably going to drag out the victory that way unless he gets caught.
So far that's what I can come up with until we actually see some of these go down.
blarg gdi the duty falls to you. YOU MUST GET BROCK BACK ON TRACK

Brock Lesnar lost to Cain Velasquez at UFC 121. Some say he gassed. Some say Cain was that much better. Some say Brock's gameplan was quite crappy. Some say Lesnar sucked from the get go. Reports of an injury surfaced, some looked at that. Who knows?
Then it hit me. I knew why Brock lost.
The sign. The f*cking sign. It's like Lesnar's version of Sampson's hair. Without the sign, Lesnar didn't have his recuperative powers like he had at UFC 116 against Shane Carwin. Any foe of Lesnar cowered in its path. Don't believe me?
There you see Carwin looking a lil flabby at the weigh-ins, clearly affected by the power of the sign. How could he miss it?
Here is our stalwart champion Brock Lesnar peering at a sea of fans, his eyes locking in unison with the sign. Lesnar looks looks strong and proud.
A closeup of a Lesnar hater, her chubby face bearing a scowl of disapproval.
And we all know what happened in the fight.
Then the UFC went to Anaheim and Brock needed the sign more than ever as he was facing Mexicain. But a known diabolical hater was given free tickets and REFUSED the sign. He refused. This is like Arthur refusing to pull Excalibur. What happened in the fight? Brock was defeated. There is one person to blame.
So when Brock takes on Junior Dos Santos in Vancouver, there is one question that must be asked and only one man can ask it....Brock Lesnar himself.
lmao
The vote at the bottom is the best part of that article
Nice sharing...................
Strikeforce this week (Diaz vs. Cyborg), UFC next weekend (Silva vs. Belfort), then the next weekend after that Strikeforce HW Grand Prix begins (Fedor vs. Silva, Arlosvki vs. Karitoniv (sp))
Gonna be some good saturdays in the near future.
WTF? did you just say nick diaz is fighting chris cyborg? Ill take cyborg all day. She has a face only an ax murderer could love.
Diaz is going to beat Cyborg and then randomly rant on about how come he doesn't make millions.
Next couple of Saturdays are going to be pretty sweet.
Silly question, but why does Dana White dislike Nick Diaz so much?
Nick Diaz vs. Evangelista Santos This fight will have 800 ppm (punches per minute)
Ronaldo Souza vs. Robbie Lawler If it wasn't for a questionable chin I would be very confident in this but that's not the case.
Herschel Walker vs. Scott Carson
Roger Gracie vs. Trevor Prangley I'm probably wrong here but I'm just going to bet on prangley having enough veteran tricks to likely win a slow decision.
