i fucking knew forrest would win, i hate all of you, my payout would have been 5 to 1 but it was only 3 to 1 because you guys are snatches

So, Dana White apparently said that assuming GSP beats Jake Shields, that he's next in line for Silva (at 185)?
Franklin must be feeling his age or something. He should've been able to dance around Forrest. Griffin is like the slowest LHW there is.
Stand up was a lot closer then I expected it to be. Griffin muscling Rich around isn't surprising at all... I just figured Franklin would be able to keep out of Griffin's range most of the fight.
was rich saying his arm re-broke because he was pointing to it after but I couldn't hear much
Oh man fucking awesome fights tonight, I had a feeling Anderson was going to win as usual but goddamn I did not expect that front kick KO LOL.
Can someone please tell me what the fuck Jon Jones is even doing fighting at LW? He's fucking 2x bigger than most of the heavyweights in the UFC, it's embarrassing. He should be fighting people just as big as he is. I'd just love to see him try to mess around with Ubereem like that. That being said, I still don't expect him to beat Shogun. Shogun is going to murder him right after he walks through Rashad. In a recent interview Alistair actually said after all this time, Shogun was still his toughest opponent, hell being KTFO by him twice.
NICE I just found out. HOLY shit next month? Ugh in Jersey of all places, FML. I don't think I will ever see an awesome card in Cali again for a while, the last one was Lesnar vs Cain.
So who will everyone be rooting for? Jones or Shogun?
probably shogun. jones is so young that he will most likely be a champ in the future anyway so it would be good to see shogun reign for a bit
Jones and Griffin doing work last night as I expected. Jones Vs Shogun? Tough decision.
Well shit it's already going to happen in a month, talk about ridiculous. I don't think Jones even deserves this, so fucked up about Evans too. Jones definitely needs more fights, I thought he should at least fight Machida before a title shot after Bader.
I agree, this is equivalent to how Dana gave Brock a title shot so early. And I do wonder if Bader won, would he have gotten the same opportunity. He hasn't beaten anyone in the top 5 or maybe 10 of that division and he's getting a title shot. Machida/Corture, Jackson/Silva(Thiago) fighting for contention and Jones jumps ahead of them all. This doesn't sit well with me at all. Griffith/Franklin fight was for position too.
Jones makes more sense than all those other guys especially it being short notice and him already being in shape. I really doubt bader would have been given a shot if he won.
I would like to see Jones move to heavyweight because I know that's where he belongs, and there would be a lot more fucking epic fights than LHW. I mean other than Shogun and Machida, who else could even be a challenge for this guy in the division? To me, for him it's just an easy ass campaign to become champion. Like Jose Aldo, he just rapes the competition and should move up.
I am not counting Shogun out at all though, especially when someone as huge and scary as Ubereem to this day still saying Shogun was the toughest man he ever fought. The fight itself.. I think Jones could possibly win a decision if he uses his wrestling, but if he tries to stand up with Shogun his Corey Hill like legs are going to get fucked up. I also see Shogun pulling a submission surprise as well with those ridiculous cartoon like limbs of Jones. Hard to call this fight, they are both good.
Everyone thought the same about Silva vs Belfort.. and good god what a let down that was. The kick was amazing of course but I mean all the hype.. Vitor gave him way too much respect/distance and paid for it.
Jones will be at HW in 5 years. His frame will broaden out and he'll have no choice.
You realize the HW division is overall much weaker than LHW and wouldn't really produce a big step up in competition. There was a reason that randy couture came back and fought in HW rather than LHW.
